This guy sounds like he’d doing things more on the order of what Jimmy Carter does…acting as a diplomatic back-channel between groups in order to facilitate efforts to move beyond their current stalemates.

Goodyear was a PAID LOBBYIST developing propaganda for the Myanmar Generals…that’s quite a bit different I think. In fact, Goodyear is well known for developing pseudo “grass-roots” organizations on the internet and as front-groups in order to appear that the public is lobbying on an issue when in fact its all being paid for by the firms or governments hiring them.

A consultant to Obama…or to Hamas. I sincerely doubt the latter. This guy was working WITH the Myanmar dictatorship as their propaganda wing in the United States. If someone contacts Hamas (or the Myanmar dictators, for that matter) in the role as a diplomatic back-channel of communications to attempt to get them to work out their issues there’s a world of difference in my opinion.

be aware that the cyclosporine is, besides being extremely expensive, VERY carcinagenic. Cyclosporine is one of only three prescribed drugs in the world that are known carcinegens. And a very strong carcinegen at that. I’m not sure that your Vet warned you, a quick Google of Cyclosporine might be enlightening. I got the warning and two years later I got the cancer. Been there, and done that.Thanx.

Re cats with diabetes – try serving only canned cat food – no dry food. Cats don’t naturally drink water, can get all the H2O they need from wet food, and don’t get the carbohydrates (grain – not naturally part of cat’s diet).

Well, I had a chance to chat with Howard Dean the October before the presidential race began, and someone asked him whether he thought Hillary would run. He said it was his impression that she was honestly undecided, but that Bill really wanted her to.

Obviously, she wouldn’t have gotten in without plenty of ambition, but it seems possible that the stubborn refusal to give up may be driven in part by him.

Except you still don’t usually know them. Being in Texas, when Bush was elected, I knew what a bone head he was. But, although I disliked Cheney’s conservatism and disagreed with him on every issue, I had no idea what he really was, or had become. I actually thought that Bush would, at least, have some adult supervision.
