McCain’s confusion of “Rod” and “Ralph” is, like many of his other seeming gaffes, quite deliberate. If for some strange reason he is ever called on this, he can just say it was some other guy, “Ralph” he was referring to. That sly fox!

So where are the “reasonable” Christian pastors/leaders, e.g., Jim Wallis, now that we’ve got full blown crazies like Hagee and Parsley out spoutin’ their crap on the campaign trail? Where were they when the Rev Dr Wright was taking all the heat for his remarks? And giving back in good measure I might add. So where are the leaders of the great American churches? Are they out there trying to counteract these bozos and I’ve missed it? I think if I were a Christian leader, which I probably couldn’t be further from, I’d be out there telling folks that preaching hate and discontent ain’t where it’s at. Why is it up to folks like firepups to take these fools on?

we used to have rice and beans everyday for dinner. black beans, rice, tomoto salad (tomatoes, garlic, parsley, a lil vinegar) and oranges (helps with the digestion of beans) now that was some good eating
