I do not understand why more is not made of Rush Limbaugh’s Operation Chaos. Hillary’s victory margin can easily be explained by Repubs crossing over to vote for her, not that they’d admit it. The system is broken. A first order of business is to require cross overs to happen at least a year before they can vote in their new party’s primary

Newt and Norske,

G’nite to ya both. And thanks for the good comments. Obama wasn’t my first choice, but he sure as hell seems to be by far the best of what’s left. So let’s get him elected.

Yeah, I read it.
After that grievously stupid performance on TDS Monday night, I could hardly bare to look.
But I’m a masochist (eg: Progressive), and it’s Glenn.

And all I have to say about Reid’s contention that RGJoe is “with us on everything but the war” is…
KATRINA!
KATRINA!
KATRINA!
So the already tenuous linkages between the occupation of Iraq and every other issue you can think of is…
bullshit.
And this is the guy our Senators picked to “lead.”

1,834 DAYZ AND THE KILLIN’ GOEZ ON AND ON AND…

Citizen Wigwam and anyone else crazy enough ta be up:

“…us-pure progressives-who will carve out the space for our nominee…”

That’s one of the reasons I trust Obama not to curve ta the right…his base constituency is the Black vote and they don’t truck any bullshit politics AND us progressives, students and marginalized independants. He can’t take any portion of his base for granted like Mr. Bill and his wife because he can’t triangulate us with the fascist vote ‘cuz thy’re spoken for. When Obama says “change” it’s code to us and it don’t mean a new fascism with a friendly face. And as for the “blue collar” vote…ya think any union or former union worker is likely ta vote for a fascist??!!

So all a this is why the rulin’ krypto-Nazis and their lobbyist gobblins are scared ta death a this guy…and by extension by his base!

KEEP THE FAITH AND PASS THE AMMUNITION, WE GOTTA GET THIS GUY’S BACK!!

It’s us. Literally, it is us - pure Progressives - who will carve out the space for our nominee to campaign in, and to drive our Senators and Critters to get tough on the Goopers and not let up.

Dooood!

Speaking of Dirty Harry Ried, did you catch this from Glenzilla today?

I’m to the point where coffee doesn’t taste right unless I’m reading Glenzilla. I love the smell of shredded wingnuts in the morning.

It seems to me that Party leaders are perfectly positioned to assume the roles of “Media Throttlers,” but looking at this bunch - Nancy, Harry (who we will have a little conversation with here Saturday), and the rest of the criminally negligent Democrats in the House and Senate, are simply not up to the task.

My real worry now is that, if recent events are any indication, the Dem message-machine is anemic, pathetic, and manned by simps.

Progressives need to learn to do real smackdowns on these MSM assholes. Even that little bit that came up after the horrible CNN debate caused some of the perps to rethink a bit. It’s very much like working the refs. Let’s learn how to stay in their faces.

I, for one, never thought that street demonstrations during the Vietnam war had anything other than a negative impact. Subsequent reading has convinced me of the opposite. Both Johnson and Nixon were haunted by them, and we’d never have left Vietnam without them.

You may, unfortunately, have it right.
I would love to see “Loud & Proud,” but unless we drive the terms (which Dems aren’t adept at doing), they will drive us.
