Rainy and cold, weather sucks, saw some farms under four feet of water while driving to Trois-Rivière.

There’s lots of asian groceries here in Grand Rapids too. :P We’ve got a pretty high asian population in general so the stores are always a mix of japanese, korean, vietnamese and chinese foods and items. The nearest local one by me has some good priced tofu.

here is their recipe..it’s pretty close to mine

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cook time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

2 ripe bananas

1 cup buttermilk (or just milk)

1/3 cup vegetable oil or vanilla oil

1/8 teaspoon baking soda

4 teaspoons baking powder

1 ¼ cup all purpose flour

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

A pinch of salt

Vanilla powder sugar

Cocoa Powder

Ground cinnamon

Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:

Preheat a frying pan at medium-high heat and pour the oil. Peel and smash the ripe the bananas in a small bowl and put them aside. Whisk the eggs in a large bowl and add the vanilla extract, and vegetable oil. In another bowl sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture and whisk until all of the ingredients are well mixed but do not over mix.

Spoon the batter into the frying pan with a spoon and deep fry until both sides are dark golden brown. Remove from heat and season with ground cinnamon. Before serving sprinkle your fritters with vanilla powder sugar and cocoa powder.

Serve warm.

Yield: 15 fritters

So, why bother with Safari then? I ask that quite innocently. I’ve used Safari a very little bit, and certainly not enough to learn its pros and cons. I’ve focused on using Firefox because it avoids the vulnerabilities of IE and is totally cross platform: Windows, Macs, and Linux (my OS of choice).

Samee with Mac OS, Linux and Unix… There are other reasons also but Ie is the most prevalent of them all and is easier to hack… Although Mickeysoft are still working on closing the holes. A recent article in the New York Times has resurrected an old issue, the killing of three American nuns in El Salvador on December 2, 1980.

The church women — Maura Clarke, Ita Ford and Dorothy Kazel along with church worker Jean Donovan — were abducted, raped and shot to death that night. The next day, peasants discovered their bodies alongside an isolated road and buried their remains in a common grave. The van they had been driving when stopped at a military checkpoint turned up 20 miles away, burned and gutted.

If XP and you have the install CD try running it and find you way to the repair section… you might loose some programs but you can get the .DLL’s back. you will also need to rerun the service packs and updates again as the repair will drop you back to a fresh state…Dam I hated it when I had to start working on PC as before then We never had any problems with viruses and Trojans and such. Did you know the average age of the authors of the viruses is just 17 – 19 years old…
