Breaking: ABC’s ‘This Week’ holds town hall with Clinton

Hillary Clinton will appear in a live town hall meeting Sunday on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.”

Just two days before the primaries, ABC’s town hall event will be broadcast live from Indiana, and also include viewer questions from North Carolina. “This Week” host Stephanopoulos is moderating.

ABC News has also extended offers to both Sen. Barack Obama and John McCain, according to a network spokesperson.

PORTAGE, Ind. — The Clinton camp has worked hard of late to portray Hillary Clinton as the fighter in the race, someone with the determination to see her plans through no matter what the obstacles. Yesterday in North Carolina, Gov. Mike Easley (D) raised some eyebrows when he said Clinton was so determined she made “Rocky Balboa look like a pansy.”

Well this afternoon, a local labor leader introducing Clinton pushed the envelope further, saying the nation needed a leader “that has testicular fortitude.”

Mother was in the mobile home at the time and a number of small notes were found. I’m going to stick with suicide until I hear something concrete that makes me suspicious. Anybody wanting to kill her would have to know that whatever documentation existed was safely away from her, so why kill her? Better a ruined career than life in prison. But then, Ms Palfrey apparently didn’t think that way.

I don’t know about “Kosher”…but I find it strange that Hillary is appearing on a program that is run by her husband’s former Press Secretary, after she appeared on a debate with that same individual that was nationally condemned for sinking to new lows in journalistic ethics.

She knows that Obama has said he won’t debate her in North Carolina and that the campaigns didn’t agree to have a debate there…so thios is simply a way to compel him to hold a debate hosted by the same hatchetman as held the one in Pennsylvania.

I think even the Party Leadership is getting tired of this stuff. Hence the defection of one of her prior committed Super Delegates today to Obama.

There’s also a Hillry Supporting 527 Group out there running ads and You Tube ads declaring that the Super Delegates are accepting “bribes” from Obama.

These are Congressmen that need money for their own campaigns and Obama is giving them support, just as he did before he was a candidate. Hillary has done the same for scores of Congressional and Senate Delegates, too. All Congressmen and Senators are Super Delegates, as are Governors. Hillary has been quite generous in using her Senatorial Campaign funds to help these people.

But by accusing these Indiana Congressmen of being “bought”, “bribed” or being “prostitutes” and accusing Obama of “buying them” hardly helps them this Fall in their campaigns. It distorts the fact that Hillary has done the same thing, and that all politicians provide $$$ to those candidates in order to build the party. In fact, it’s a mandatory part ofr the DNC process.

Can’t give the CycloSporin with an ointment so she gets it with Insulin. Since she’s diabetic we can’t use the heavy duty steroidal inflammatories. Could be up to year or more. Bound and determined she not lose her eye.

BTW it turns out that both Hillary and Obama have been giving money to Super Delegates. In some cases Obama has given more to Super Delegates supporting Clinton than she has.

And we have to remember that Obama is in a lot better position to help Congressional candidates simply because Clinton has been running out of money. She has basically used up all her Senatorial Campaign war-chest and is now relying on that supposed huge flush of contributions from mysterious “new supporters” (which would have to be so since her old supporters have already maxed out their limits).

Obama’s been flush with cash, and it’s essentially a situation of “use it or lose it” for him…especially if he declares to accept Federal Campaign Financing. Donating to Congressional candidates is a way to do that.

Anyone know anything about that group Unknown American Voices that is putting up these ads attacking Obama and those that receive Campaign Contributions from him?
