It makes as much sense as any thing in explaining Wright. His immense ego and narcissism was clearly in view, and he enjoyed the limelight and was in love with his voice and his oration. Conspiracy theorists might believe that he was offering himself up as a sacrificial lamb to Obama for a Sista Soulja moment, but that is truly projecting Hunter S Thompson.
