We’re just about 6 months away from the White House, Both Houses of Congress and the Next Two Supreme Court Picks.

There is No Reason to think that ‘08 will be anything different than the ‘06 Avalanche Two Years Bigger Down the Mountain.

With the Dems in Uncontested Control, imvho, we’ll see a return to Win-Win Compromise Politics, and the Goopers can rest assured that they’ll get their representative piece, too.

What they won’t get are any more of their “Our Way or the Highway” ‘wins.’

Obama is Strong Enough to Referee the Dems, and also Be Fair to the Republicans.

Could be, but once the ‘masses’ find out that Obama wants to increase the tax on Capital Gains, (a Tax that affects just about anyone with a 401K), they may re-evaluate their position.

In the Presidential, my guess is about seventy-percent will vote for the candidate who is not a Republican. It’s about the economy.

I said earlier in the thread this morning that these 3 guys would get off. It’s real simple. The police anywhere in this country could shoot your grandmother to death while she’s weeding her flower garden and the police and courts will manage to justify the act. As far as the judicial system is concerned the police can do no wrong. Period. Serve and protect, my ass. The only people the police protect are the wealthy.

No justice, no peace.

The real crux of the Democrats problem was contained in that one statement uttered by Wills -

“…45 Republicans beat 51 Democrats.”

Doesn’t that just tell the whole story?

Here’s the bottom line for the Democrats, and the country - things will only get worse in Congress >under a Clinton Presidency.<

Those Democrats supporting Clinton, like Bayh of Indiana, are also members of the DLC - and those members cared less about their party or the country than they do about the benefits to themselves. All these many years since 1994 the Democratic party has been in sharp decline. Their opposition to the Right grew weaker and weaker — with the support of those same DLC members.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY WILL DIE - BUT THAT TOO IS WHAT THE DLC HOPES FOR….

That 40% is “un-enrolled.” I’m part of that 40%. Actions in combination with words define bigots. I apologize, and made no inference that you are a bigot, in my post. That would be very ignorant on my part! To life, not servile prejudices and the non-logic of the “dark ages” preceding the “Age of Reason!”

I, too, like using the term judgment over experience, however, I fear judgment is a word loaded with collateral damage.

Perhaps discernment puts more of the payload on target?

It’s about time we had a Leader who can ’see’ the ‘right thing’ to do, AND be able to Personally tell right from wrong, too.

No more Front Daddies, or Front Mommas, for the Power Elite! Aren’t We all tired of Agenda-Politicians, who can spout the High Moral Line, but whose actions betray a Morally-Blind Loyalty to Sold-Out Self-Interest?

The problem with Hillary is the problem with McCane - it’s more of the Same.

We need a Leader with Better Vision and the Courage to Represent US - the Rule-of-Law abiding Citizens of America - for a Change.
