Senator McCain was asked recently in an interview if he would run a decent campaign. Interveiwer noting the Swift Boaters at Senator Kerry. McCain said that was wrong and he wouldn’t run that sort of campaign. He condemned the Swift Boat ads and when asked, Stated he would in fact tell them to stop. Now the Swift Boaters were a 527 group. This is the GOP !

So is McCain, the Presidential candidate helpless to stop his own GOP from running this AD?

If McCain cannot control his own party, how on earth will he control anything as President?

So is McCain incapable to be President? Or is he lying? (mis-spoke to you GOP elitists).

Hillalry Clinton has shown she wil indulge in race baiting. Her bringing up “Farrakhan” when Obama has no contact or relationship with him certainly qualifies. Her silence regarding the race baiting N. Carolina ad also confirms.
My opinion of the Clintons has never been lower.

Just because he’s human and has a past. Who cared that W was alcoholic, DWI, AWOL, failure. Obviously we do not play hard enough, and the dilemma of not being sure we want to.

Exactly, the corporate media will do their best to slime Obama and make it seem like the rational course of things.
Obama has little more than a snowball’s chance in hell in winning the GE, perhaps a large snowball, but the media will slice and dice this guy and say, “look he was to flawed a candidate”.

I think Obama has a tough uphill raod to win the GE in November. large segments of the voting populace are fundamentally racist. Obama was able to get many white voters before he was defined as “black candidate”.

This began in earnest several months ago when Russert started waving the bloody “Farrakhan ” shirt. I knew Obama was being had.

Who could take this on? Wasn’t the “politics of personal destruction” a Clinton phrase? It is a good one, and the people who run should not be so attacked and the public mislead. Someone could really start making this case; everyone knows what “swift boat” means now. What could reshape the argument?
