In these areas there are real truths and falsehoods. In some cases where there are complex interactions one can argue about the relative importance of factors in causation…but that’s often as much as post-modernism can contribute. Some theories simply ARE NOT equal to others, and some facts placed into evidence are not equally true. Some people are not experts.</p> <p>When Bob Sokal pranked one of the leading Post-Modernist journals with a bunch of metaphysical nonsense about modern physics and it passed their peer-review process and got published as a major critique of Science it showed just how far things had sunk. Bought myself a new one, damn, it was cheap, and extremely powerful. Great for working Raw files in photoshop. And the screen is wide, wider than my tv. It’s gonna scan itself in a few minutes.
