I happen to side with the shearers, what’s an odd nick or two… It wouldn’t be good if they didn’t get sheared for the hot summer days…!

having long since decided that this is a bad-hair-life, i’m generally easy-going about hair cuts, go to a beautician school cuz i figure i’m good practice. So i get the occasional snip on ear or neck … didn’t know i should be protesting the cruelty of it all!

Having known a few sheep, I wouldn’t say they are stupid, merely lacking in the capacity for independent thought. This is much like certain sectors of the population in general, for instance those who voted for Bush.

I’m not sure about that. Don’t get me wrong, no criticism of the necessary function of the mods, but it seems like censoring out the offending word/words and leaving the rest of the statement intact, or just deleting altogether is more appropriate than changing/substituting words, if that is what happened.
