and jayt–know a few people who were ruined by the ’reveal laws’……most of them were young, had underage girlfriends, with permission of their parents, until parents got mad at teenager or partner and brought charges…..some were barely over 18…..now they’re sex offenders for life for having a girlfriend.

at least they can explain it to prospective bosses for what it is..

but

two others lost in court over allegations from spouses…nasty divorces…..

these two are jammed for life.

I dunno, but it’s a worthy question.

I left FDL once for several weeks as to this matter.

Once, but only once, I represented a guy who I eventually realized was stone-cold guilty. So what did I do?

To my everlasting shame, I withdrew from the case. A true chicken-shit move on my behalf. I should have stayed, beat the thing at trial, and *then* learn to live with myself.

But I wasn’t that brave.
