You don’t want to know the Washington Post’s editorial take on the nature of the “Scandal in the Making“. Here’s all they say about McCain:

There’s no love lost between Mr. McConnell, an ardent foe of campaign finance reform, and John McCain, the Republican Party’s presumptive presidential nominee and champion of such reform. But Mr. McCain — who has said he would accept public financing for the general election if his Democratic opponent agreed to do the same — has more than a passing interest in ensuring a functioning FEC. Perhaps he could use his newfound influence within the party to get this problem solved.

This begs Letters to the Editor.

“Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Federal Election Law requires us to report the name, address, occupation, and employer for contributions aggregating in excess of $200 in an election cycle. The maximum an individual may contribute is $2,300 for the primary election and an additional $2,300 for the general election. Couples may contribute $4,600 for the primary and general elections, respectively. Federal PACs may contribute $5,000 for each election. Contributions from corporations, labor unions, federal government contractors, national banks, and foreign nationals without permanent residency status are prohibited.”

after reading the letters again, plus your loan agreement info, i think he’s in a little bitta trouble.
