The disconcerting part is her response that she went to so many countries that she got things confused. I had one incident of panic in Indonesia in which I thought my life was over in the jungles of Kalimantan. I remember every detail, sound, smell, voices like it is just happening. I don’t get it confused with my hundreds of other foreign adventures. Neither did Hillary.

The problem is with this explanation is WHERE did she ever face such a situation in another country?

If she did experience such events then one can see that mixing up two different areas of conflict might make sense. It would be like you confusing events in Kalimantan with something in Sulawesi.

But this is more akin to Reagan thinking that he actually was in combat in WW2…rather than serving as a spokesperson for Army Recruitment Films.

Sen. McMain lies. Not just the neighborly white lies that harmlessly oil the social gearworks. Not the usual politician’s lies about being for causes he’s against or that he’s working hard for a constituent when he simply can’t be bothered.

He lies about policies, he lies about facts, resources and problems and what he would do about them, fearing they will hurt him electorally. Never mind, because once the voters speak every four years, he can tell them to Cheney themselves and do what he wants. He lies about his past, because a frank discussion of it would hurt his ego and his chances of election. All in, he’s a cookie-cutter Rove Republican. Which is also why his credit balance with the MSM Bank is so good.

That just about sums McCain up in a nutshell. He’s no maverick, just a liar. We can’t let him get away with it, or we will have another Bush clone administration creating its own reality.

She’s thrashing around in a trap of her own making. She’s the “experienced” one, so she has to pad her resume and embellish.

She’s absolutely dismal. First she was “inevitable” (like death), now “experienced” (like Bush and McCain).

I think she misspoke, but I don’t know how she recovers from this except to go even more negative on Obama to change the subject. That will be the real tragedy.
