It’s amazing to see this lineup of progressive candidates putting their campaigns on the line to bring action on Iraq.

#1. Call an International Peace Conference of All nations
#2.Use United Nations troops for peace keeping and add Nato
#3. Put All parties on notice that warring nations will have all assests frozen and serious sanctions will be employed.
#4. International Convenvetion will make all war illegal period
#5 Arms sale will also be illegal as illegal instruments of mayhem.

#6 All disputes will be addressed in International courts with appeals and Supreme proceedings.
Put this on a c-span like public television like the UN 24/7 with all languages.
Tax all nations to fund it any nation going to war will have assests taken by this peace government or something loke it.
Invite all environmental organizations to lay down the rules of environmental safety and recovery. Save planet Earth.

Call for Congress to start Impeachment investigation into crimes and misdameanors.
Organise world wide love in immediately.

Let’s hear what our candidates are raising as a plan – they have been working on this for a while and from all I’ve heard, the plan is good … no residual troops, no contractors …

I almost hate to have the plan revealed. NOTHING good will happen while Bush is charge, the only thing announcing will do is give Cheney time to set things up so the plan won’t work.

It’s a ballsy initiative for some of our Blue America candidates. I’m intrigued. It’s the kind of proactive leadership we want from our candidates, though I still have not had time to review the actual plan.

That said, it comes with some support from people whose opinions on this I tale seriously.

this framework from today will change the conversation on national security … it’s easy for candidates to put out a short “we want to end the war” statement, it’s really hard to really work together to change the conversation as these candidates are doing … we owe them our work to get them elected

For starters I might suggest getting out of Iraq. And then doing genocide reparations.

Since the Ustream is over, I’ve set up the overivew Youtube above … share it around!

Think about if we spent just half of what we spend per month on the Iraq ‘war’ on rebuilding Iraq infra structure what that might mean in terms of perceptual good will.

The Plan as I did a quick read defines the concerns and suggests pathways to implement solutions.
The attachment indicate most support for Veterans benefit legislation;
means to me vet orgs need to get on board to increase odds of success.

The candidates have strong values that are widely held across America.
Needs good marketing. Anyone have a contact with Al Gore and his Google connections?

Speaking of taking back America, it is high time for FDL to take a stand on the increasingly vile campaign tactics and outright lies of Hillary “clusterbomb” Clinton and her minions. Having been a reader, and sometime commenter on this site almost from its inception, the similarities between Mrs. Clinton and Joe “douchebag” Lieberman cannot be refuted and should be addressed aggressively without further delay. Too bad Joe Wilson backed the wrong horse. It doesn’t mean we have to.

Did I miss it or does this plan NOT address correcting the dereliction of Congress with regard to its neglecting to safeguard its Constituional monopoly power to declare war?
