They are both from the Iraqi Perspectives Project, and one is marked redacted, but on a very quick glance, they don’t seem to be two versions of the same report.

Correct. The shorter (redacted) document is Volume 1 of the Pentagon report BushCo is attempting to suppress. The longer document is an analysis of Operation Iraqi Freedom as viewed by Saddam’s senior staff. No doubt the bushies would like that suppressed as well, but its not the document regarding al-Qaeda links (or rather the lack thereof).

Ultimately war is a pretty bad thing. Uribe may be in Bush’s pocket, but the prospect of provoking a regional war can’t be very appetizing.

The same goes for Chavez.

I think this probably fleshed out to Uribe that he’s sort of alone in the region now as the sole Bush/US man….Stepping away was the smart choice for all involved.

Just my reading of the matter.

raven-good! i’m glad she’s finding things to do to not go stir crazy…….it is seed frenzy here in ohio amongst my friends.everybody’s getting their stuff in the mail, like christmas to a gardener…heirloom tomatoes, cantelope, etc…….at garden club/food club the other night, the short program was about green flowers. there aren’t many.
