Way to go Fire Pups! I watched the vote go down and was so proud of all of you. Thank you so much for your activism!

By the way, I think Kucinich was protesting the Democrats for ALLOWING A SECRET SESSION TO OCCUR. It was a risky move on his part. Not sure I would have done that considering the importance of this vote. Maybe he knew it was going to pass and figured voting against it wouldn’t be a risk? Could be. Not sure.

I had sent an email to Pelosi last week calling her craven because at the time it appeared the Dems were caving. So after today, I sent another note apologizing for what was perhaps a rush to judgment.

I can’t tell who it is but I don’t think it’s Glen Campbell. Could be. He’s old enough.

I hope this makes Lieberman upset. He seemed so keen on telcom immunity in his last letter ; ) Then of course there were those obnoxious ads against Chris Murphy and Courtney.

How does a weaker dollar (almost $1.60 to buy 1 Euro these days) help us?

It helps us contribute yet again to the record profits for some of those that Bush really serves, namely, the oil companies.

Post that lists the 21 blue dogs who wrote to Pelosi on FISA

Today represents a stumbling block, at least, to the administration’s desire to sweep certain facts out of public sight.

I’m happy about the outcome, but the outcome isn’t necessarily durable, and the outcome may have a price tag of extending the odious PAA for an indefinite period.
