As I recall, (but my memory is notoriously rotten, so I could be wrong,) he was against the Senate bill before he voted for it, for reasons I can’t recall. Anyway, he should definitely be worked on.</p> <p>I am proud to say, though, that I cast my vote for Chris Carney in the original contest. I just knew that weaselly little turncoat would stick it to us again. If we did’nt have Schuler there, we would certainly have a republican. It makes sense that in voting on legislation Shuler would have to be sensitive to his conservative constituency. I don’t think we can expect him to be totally progressive on every piece of legislation. He is fairly new and should be given time to learn and grow.
