I was living out of the country in a small village in Asia for quite some time. We had no electricity, running water, transportation. It was pretty simple. One day one of my villagers came to me and said I had a new president. My response was, “Oh, did Nixon die?”</p> <p>I had to find out all the details when I returned to the states but I never really experienced what the country felt when Nixon left the White House.
