On this snowy Sunday morning, who can we watch on the telly? Well, here’s the line-up:
ABC’s This Week: Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean. Gov. Charlie Crist (R-FL) and Sen. Carl Levin (D-MI) on primary do-overs. Roundtable: Cokie Roberts, Sam Donaldson, George Will.
CBS’ Face The Nation: Democratic National Committee Chair Howard Dean, Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL), Sen. John Kerry (D-MA). Ed Rollins Republican Strategist, Joe Trippi

Fox News Sunday: Michigan superdelegate Debbie Dingell, Florida superdelegate Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Rep. Mike Pence (R-IN).
NBC’s Meet The Press: Hillary Clinton supporter Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA) v Obama supporter and former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD). Roundtable: Dan Balz, Ron Brownstein, John Harwood and Gwen Ifill.
The Chris Matthews Show: Ron Allen NBC News, Andrea Mitchell NBC News, Patrick Healy New York Times, Gloria Borger U.S. News & World Report.
Sixty Minutes: John McCain Now that he has become the presumptive Republican presidential candidate, John McCain talks to Scott Pelley about his plans to win the White House. 26-Year-Secret Bob Simon reports on two lawyers who, bound by the client-attorney privilege, kept the secret that their client had committed a murder while an innocent man went to jail for the crime and remains there after 26 years. The Icahn Lift Carl Icahn’s reputation for pumping up the value of companies has led to a phrase that describes that Midas touch: the "Icahn lift." Lesley Stahl profiles the billionaire investor.
Today’s photo is from Julie’s Magic Light Show — lovely shot of a horned lark sitting on some ice and snow. Brrrrrr…and pretty much what all the fluffed out birdies look like on our feeders at the moment in all of our ice and snow here.

Good Morning CHS!
Good Morning Christy, and don’t forget to set your clocks forward an hour.
On this snowy Sunday morning, who can we watch on the telly?
How about none of the above. As you were the other day, I am flat used up right now on the whole sordid horse race business. Have decided to take a break today.
Morning Christy, that’s one cold looking birdie!
What I’d like to know is, where are the larks around the lake this morning/
My cable company got it right, but my cell phone service (Verizon) is an hour behind the times. Amazing.
FDL servers are still an hr off?
Mornin’, all -
Here’s a few tidbits that caught my eye this morning; haven’t gotten to the NYT yet.
A good clarion call from the wapoo for less Dem poo flinging:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/…..inionsbox1
and dionne weighs in:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/…..inionsbox1
From his mouth to Dog’s ear….
My Verizon is on time. However it never thought to look at my phone to check the time.
I think the whole thing with the religious right will be a part of and die with the Bush legacy.
They probably have to be changed manually, and I’m sure the techies will see to it this morning.
Speaking of which, I have some clocks to mess with . . . this may take a while.
The New Christian Science Textbook
They ain’t gonna go down easy…. when you get used to shouting so loudly no other voices can be heard, it’s a hard habit to break. :-(
because Marion slept in, I made some pancakes for her and you.
I think that may be wishful thinking on Dionne’s part. The TheoCon right is not dead yet, and won’t go away without a fight.
The CA Supreme Court heard over three hours of arguments this past week on a case that seeks to overturn the ban on same-sex marriage. Four votes are needs to win and from the questioning, three justices are leaning toward overturning the ban, two or three leaning toward supporting it, and one or two sit in the middle. Generally speaking, the CA Supremes rule within 90 days, so a decision could come down in the first week of June.
Once it does, the TheoCons will go nuts, beginning with Southern CA’s own Lou Sheldon. If the ban is overturned, watch the TheoCons go nuts: “Look what the secular humanist activist judges have done!” If the ban is upheld, they’ll still go nuts: “Look what the secular humanist activist judges ALMOST did!” And it won’t just be the CA TheoCons doing the shouting.
We have not heard the last of the religious right — not by a longshot.
Try the coated ones. They go down much easier.
Henry Champ from the Canadian Broadcasting Corp, talking about Canada in Afghanistan on Washington Journal
In conjuenction with the NYC historic preservation conference I attended yesterday, there are a variety of walking tours today. The one I selected is in the area of Highbridge. It was opened in 1843, and is an aquaduct, designed to carry water to the city as part of the then new Croton Aqueduct system, but no longer used for that purpose. It spans the Harlem river from 174 St in Manhattan to 170 St. in the Bronx.

C-Span just ran the mccain ad comparing him to Churchill…positively sickening!
Peterr -
Oh, I agree with you 100%. I wasn’t totally non-religious eight years ago; the theocons have made me that way.
Kos has a picture up that depicts the correct McCain comparison.
They seem to have that effect on a fair number of people.
I don’t watch DeFace the Nation or This Weak or Latte Edition or anything on Fox. I do watch Meet the Presstitutes sometimes. Mostly if I want opinion without the Republiklan party talking points I watch CSPAN.
John McCain and the Republiklan party, It’s Hitler in America again.
Readers, if you want to put an end to right wing thuggery in America, I suggest you call some of the corporate sponsors of the Republiklan party and demand the progressive legislation that Republiklans in congress refuse to give us, or these corporate sponsors will lose our busines and our money. Abdicate your purchasing power or don’t complain when the right wing thugs get rid of legal abortions, privatize social security and make the Bu$h tax cuts permanent, continue a crap prescription drug plan for the middle class and ride roughshod on America in keeping a war in Iraq for high oil prices. Don’t you just love paying $3.50 a gallon for gas? The Bu$h administration orchestrated this with his corporate masters.
Do not financially upport those companies that give money to the Republiklan party.

Morning Christy…
That bird…a horned lark. Hmmm Snow in WV? Not here in MN this Sunday morn…
Some feed is coming in right now from MTP that will be transmitted in the next 12 minutes or (ET) Nothing exciting so far, just talking points…
Maybe you could consider just being non-theocrat.
If you dislike, let’s say chocolate with nuts, there’s no reason to give up chocolate all together.
Or, if you dislike brussel sprouts, you don’t have to give up all vegetables.
Just something to ponder.
Hi all. Is it safe to come out?
BTW, did anyone catch the SNL spoof of that famous Hill ary phone-call commercial about Obama last night? Priceless….
If nuts (your choice of word) and brussel sprouts got in my face & told me that I had to eat them, it might have wider repercussions. The theocrats hardly play the passive role that your analogy implies, and their actions have predictable and derserved blowback to religion as a whole.
I see your point.
But, I also stand by what I believe and I won’t give the theocrats the power to make me give it up.
If anything, they strengthen my beliefs.
Sorta like separating the wheat from the chaff (sp?)
I don’t see them as people of faith. More like people of fear and the need to feel powerful or something like that.
MC Cain is to Churchill is like Bush is to intelligence.
I’m confused. Does that make Nader a chocolate covered brussel sprout?
No problem. Just don’t expect everyone to be, as your are, immune to the negative consequences of theocons.
They didn’t influence me either. I’ve been an athiest for half a century.
OMG! Why am I up??
but the coffee is ready… hold out your cups…
Oh, I still believe in a higher power and a set of principles to live by; it just doesn’t happen to fit the definition used by many of those who quite literally darken the doors of houses of worship these days.
And eCAHN, count me among the blowback.
Oh, gag! heritage foundation mouthpiece on C-Span. Where’s the clicker when ya need it?
a chocolate covered brussel sprout is the nadir of food
hey there: how was your latest trip to UT? Trying to get all the skiing in before spring sets in? *g*
Yes, thanks for asking. It is an extraordinary season there.
Next trip is to Savannah at the end of the month for their annual house & garden tour, with a side benefit including drinks with Marion & Mr. Marion.
Channeling the punster these days you are. *g* Sorry to hear last night he’s taking some computer break time.
nice, Savannah, GA, with FDLers…on the porch maybe, sipping mint juleps?
Sent an email to journal@cspn.org, saying that if the China can challenge the U.S. militarily (as Tkacik asserts) when they spend $18 billion annually and we spend half a trillion, then the U.S. military has a lot of Qs to answer.
My TMobile cell got the time change right, as usual. *yawns* i’m up this early because i’ve totally messed up my sleeping patterns. I’m still trying ot get them somewhat right and for now, i’m awake.
TV’s off. I don’t think i could withstand the talking head shows without wanting to toss something at the screen. Enjoying the quiet before i go back to sleep for a few hours again.
it just doesn’t happen to fit the definition used by many of those who quite literally darken the doors of houses of worship these days.
I think there are more people who define their beliefs in a way that doesn’t fit their pattern.
Maybe I’m wrong.
Have we become a nation of non-thinking brussel sprouts?
I don’t hold strong expectations, but I sure wish more people would think for themselves. :)
Well, we’re meeting in a bar, but I’ll take your mint julep suggestion under consideration.
new Jane post on Taking Back the South has been pulled–HTML hiccups. But zed-hunters: Be ready to pounce! *G*
My email just got read on C-SPAN.
Pretty good line-up this morning. They actually have some Democrats!
Even Daschle will be on with no Republicans! I guess he’ll have to kiss their asses in absentia.
WOW! and I just turned it off, Curses!
Sure, Daschle is on without a Republican, but it is for a Clinton/Obama debate.
Let’s see it. Post it, please.
Wizard! Turned it off earlier….was it the question you suggested I send or something else and what was the response?
Well still, I’m surprised they didn’t have their Clinton-Obama debate with all Republics and Donna Brazile!
Independent thinking and critical thinking are the two things discouraged the most in this country. Especially with the way we’re screwing over the school system. My parents had a hand in my ability to do both, but so did a few of my best teachers as well.
Sadly, the loudest religious wingnuts try to keep both of those out of the common knowledge as much as possible. I grew up in a small, religious town but it didn’t leave me ungrounded in the ways of the world. Mostly BECAUSE of my parents and my extended family. Church never came into it, for us. We’re not atheists, but they really didn’t have interest in that set of particular social rituals. There were other ways to socialize, after all.
In answering it, Tkacik shifted terms, claiming he meant that China would have regional influence, whereas the U.S. was spread around the world. However, “regional influence” is far different from “challenging the U.S. militarily,” which is what he said to begin with.
Hey, hey. They know the smart ones.
I don’t know about choclate covered brussel sprouts, but you might want to consider a chocolate, mint julep.
Anyone ever heard of that?
Now, I’m getting hungry. See y’all later.
My Q @ 39, his response @ 52.
Good morning everyone! The blue sky is peaking through the gray clouds this morning. Couldn’t be happier. ;-)
Actually, it made me happy this morning to find out Denny Hastert lost his seat to a Democrat, because the republican running for it was…well…a republican, which is a species the American people no longer like.
Wow! Very cool. ;-)
Good morning all,
I just came across a revealing article about what happened in the Bush administration prior to 9/11 and with the commission that later investigated it–some of the stuff the Bush administration has been hiding from the American people all these years. Here’s an excerpt:

ROTFLMAO! Today’s Non Sequitur is so on target:
http://news.yahoo.com/comics/nonsequitur
I heard about this book. Thanks for the link. I have high hopes that this will blow more of the lid off how derelict the Bshies were prior to 9/11.
OMG! I wonder if we’ll ever hear about it in the US.
I guess you have real journalists in Australia.
Do you have any idea if the book will even be available in the states?
Doug Feith is blaming everyone but George Bush & Dick Cheney in the drum beating and run up of the Iraq occupation:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/…..038;sub=AR
Powell & Rice are at the top of his blame list. What an ass.

For all those who were here yesterday morning: An update on the puppy watch. Bella (the Old English Sheepdog) has a beautiful litter of 4 females and 3 males. Mother and pups are doing well.
Sometimes cartoonists just blow my mind with the world/story they can portray in a few inches. Thank Dog so many of them lean liberal!
Good Morning Christy and Firedogs,
wac,
that book was written by NYT reporter, published here in the States 1/8/8
just discovered it myself yesterday via our Sangemon – am dyin’ to read it -
interesting the review was written by the McCain lovin’ Thomas
congratulations to the bitch and the babies and to you too!! ;)
Is anyone watching the Sunday Talk Shows this morning?
I only had Washington Journal on this morning which I turned off at the wrong time. My excuse is that they’re all rehashing the all ready hashed, am I wrong?
How cute! I see there’s lots of girl power in that litter. ;-)
Been waiting for that announcement; delighted to hear all well! Where do they live and do they also own the father?
My son decided “Flight 29 Down” is better than listening to the talking heads. I don’t think I’m missing anything.
Pictures?
I wonder if they might be referring to Churchill’s disasterous Gallipoli Campaign.
Not sure you want to see pix; guarantee for instant love and uncontrollable desire to have at least one in your life. *g*
They live in central NY. No, they don’t own the father. Sent her to a stud service.
The whole day was thrilling. Since they’d never done this before, they had a midwife. I expected Bella to be in pain and possibly yelping but none of that happened. She delivered effortlessly. There were 3 stillborn which the midwife worked on but couldn’t bring back. The 7 who survived are just the cutest little things. They resemble guinea pigs.
see my 23…as I said, talking points…
Brava to Bella!!
I’ll work on the pix but that is unchartered teritory for me.
Puppy lust.
Solai – I don’t know how chilly it is for you, but down here in the Southern Tier, it’s 22 and we had an inch of snow overnight.
I guess we in MN dodged the bullet on this one:
from the BeeB:
oops…meant uncharted territory….politics on the brain
It’s chilly but all we got yesterday was rain. No snow till late and just a dusting.
Most of michigan dodged that too, strangely. Usually if a system hits Ohio and Ontario, we get some portion too! Instead it’s been 3 days of sunshine and brisk, cold temperatures. But we’ve had our share of snow too. Well over our 80 inch average in west michigan!
I’m off to the maternity ward. Eager to see how it went overnight.
Whew! Good thing they don’t live any closer; if there are any still available, you could color me a goner. So sorry several didn’t make it; that’s a big litter.
Goodluck solai,
savor that puppy breath!
I was looking at CSPAN’s schedule for the day and it’s FDR Day on CSPAN 3
for all you FDR connoisseurs.
I must be inbetween you and Biodun. If something hits him, we get it about 12 hours later. This year has been strange though, most of the storms avoided us – either north or south, sometimes by as little as 5 miles.
Same thing happened last summer with the rain. If the town wasn’t built in a swamp, we would’ve been pretty dry!
I’m watching Meet the Presstitutes because they have actual democrats on it today.
I hope in November we will have
Barack Obama vs the Hunchback of John McCain. Oh on the Hunchback appears Bush’s war to raise oil proces past $3 a gallon.
ya beat me to it Crosstimbers @74!
hope everyone had a chance to read Ian’s post from last evening – he was quite modest in highlighting those events that have come to past – am a little taken aback we all aren’t talking about this more – it will be with us long after the poo is in the compost heap
ecahn – @17 – if you’re interested, there is a PBS series: Secrets of New York, sunday nights, virtual historical walking tours :)
Thanks. Rarely watch PBS, but I’ll check it out. (I’m one of those rare people who finds Ken Burns’ work boring.)
Now, that’s funny! (I teach history.)
I haven’t gotten into many of his more recent ones, kinda formulaic. I do think The Civil War was genius, and I got sucked in to the baseball series through multi-episode overnight reruns during a severe bout of I’m-not-going -to-sleep-until-the-birdladies-sing insomnia.
But as an example using my personal fave, he barely mentioned Michael Jack Schmidt, it was all Yankees and Red Sox really.
I read Ian’s piece last night and was so depressed, I ended up in bed with a headache and a glass of wine. We are Ok – our house is all paid for and we have a garden and can put in some chickens, but this is going to get really really ugly before it is over. And I don’t think this is going to be over for several years.
We’ve got lots of snow here. Not feeling too optimistic about schools being open tomorrow.
spent the better part of the day weeding and prepping soil for the garden. it was a nice break.
LOL– Meet the Presstitutes and the Hunchback of John McCain!
I’m going to borrow those if it’s OK.
Must be nice! The ground is still frozen here in MI.
You can borrow them although I put the Hunchback of John McCain on a t shirt with image.
I love shelties. They do seem to have a genetic instinct to herd, but not to enjoy Shetland Islands winter weather.
twas very nice, but we’re in southern cali and have had warmer than usual weather this week via the santa ana winds (my allergies don’t thank you, ana)
You can look at hunchback dot democratz dot org tonight and you will see the t shirt.
too early to work the soil here, not supposed to do it until you can sit on the ground without getting your heinie cold *s*
but PA isn’t exactly the same zone as So Cal then is it?
Great. I won’t make any t-shirts, and I may buy one if you’re selling them.
Brady is actually a collie. Hard to tell from the picture, I guess. Shelties always look to me like collies that have been pre-shrunk. ;)
But, yeah, he does have some major herding instincts.
i just had to take a break from the tubes yesterday. mr wobbs andf i went rollerskating with the dog then we tackled the garden. we still need to plant but that won’t be today
yes they appear for sale. The site that the url points to appears down right now. You might want to look at a lot of political items I created there as well.
No snow here. Just a bright sunny day.
I’ll bet most Americans have no idea who the voice is in the McCain TV ad. Ask them who was Chruchill and they won’t know much less connecting him to a war. Was that World War I they’ll ask? But for those in the know, the ad is bleak McCain attempt at humor or something. He can’t seriously compare himself to Churchill, noted statesman, orator and strategist.
No, conservatives have no sense of humor. They also don’t embarrass easily.
I think he’s serious.
I want people to consider calling the other party the REPUBLIKLAN party.
White men who don’t like blacks, the poor and women’s freedom. Yep that describes the actions of the Republiklan party.
I like the picture of you two rollerskating with dog!
Sorry, there was no scale by which to judge.
Oh and another Meme:
“The Blame for Bush’s reign shall fall mainly on McCain.”
and
McCain: Not Able.
they don’t take kindly to latinos, asians, gays, atheists, etc. either
That gives me an idea– Once the Rats nominate a candidate and we all unite around her, FDL should have a Political Slogan Contest. We can pick the best ones and make some t-shirts, bumper stickers, buttons, etc.
I find history fascinating, but not the way that Burns does it. While I was in the shower just now I figured out how to articulate what part of my problem was. In the WWII programs, he interviewed all those soldiers. But I felt as though, by analogy, I was reading a suspense book that was ripped away from me after the setup. In other words, I’m even more interested in how the WWII experiences changed their lives, what the consequences were. Imagine reading the beginning of scores of suspense books without ever being able to read the end of any of them. Pretty boring after awhile. Also, as Elliott mentioned, formulaic, predictable. Now don’t take my criticisms too seriously. I’ve only sampled Burns because in my small exposure I found no reason to persist & figure out if there were hidden gems.
good thing she doesn’t pull!!! she’s been running next to skates and alongside bikes since she was a wee pup
her?? did i miss something?
Well, traditionally people would use the pronouns “he” or “him” by default, if the sex of the person was unknown. So I thought I would break with our sexist past and use “she” as a generic pronoun. :-)
Yeah, right. Of course a more objective means would be to avoid using a pronoun.
I’m supporting Obama. I don’t find a phone call at 3am concerning to me. I’m conserned of the phon calls that Hillary Clinton has taken from Big Pharma and the Health insurance companies in the afternoon.
I consider it the point we implement the separation of corporation and state.
Republicans and Miami Cubans have a special arrangement. Republicans maintain the Cuban Embargo (el bloqueo) that entitles cubans to be political asylum seekers – not illegal aliens like everyone else. As such, Cubans who enter the US (by any means and with no documents) and make it to shore can stay legally. They are entitled to receive all Medicaid, food stamps and other benefits ASAP. Were it not for the entrenched Republican cubans in Miami, Al Gore would have been President in 2000.
I thought his Civil War series was a masterpiece, but do believe it has gotten a little formulaic since. There has been so much on WWII that I didn’t know what he could add. On the other hand, there seem to be a lot of people, thirty something and younger, who accept the idea that Al Quaida is a threat equal to or greater than that of the Axis in WWII or the Soviet Union in the Cold War. Any little bit of perspective they get might help.
Today is the first meeting/training of my county’s Democrats who signed up to be a delegate during the February 10th Maine caucus. Should be fun and I’m looking forward to it. I’ve never participated in something like this, so it will be interesting how it goes and how far I can go. ;-)
FDL toobz hiccups–now Christy’s new post is a 404…
Al Qaeda
Good luck Kay! Keep us posted!
sung to the Developers tune.
Good Morning Christy and Pups.
Not much time to enjoy the toobz or even that worthless-looking ABC Roundtable. Some of the others look interesting, but… We’re digging out here. Lil’ tractor says it can, it really can, but it’ll take awhile.
Big beautiful snow, but, well, it’d be nice to be able to get out y’know.
Beautiful picture Julie! I love those birds. We see them only occasionally, in the dead of winter, flitting about in small groups on the flattest, most wind-swept snowy fields. It seems to work for them. Tough little critters.
Note the extra-long back toe claw. Characteristic of “true” larks. I think it’s our only real lark in the Americas, but it is related to the Old World lark so famous for beautiful song.
Gotta go grab a shovel and help the mister. Enjoy the morn, Pups. I hope everyone’s o.k. after that nasty weather of the last several days.
I will! I am so excited. I have no idea what to expect, but after going through 8 years of republic hell, I’m ready for anything today! LOL If the Oxford Dems will allow me to, I will take pictures of today and post them on my blog. ;-)
Congrats Kay, and thank you much for your activism!
Will be checking your blog later on ;->
Glad you liked the photo. Horned larks are, in theory, uncommon here, but for two winters now I’ve been able to see them regularly. Last year, they were often in a mixed flock with snow buntings, but this time I’ve had very little snow bunting sightings.
Lately we’ve had a dozen or two turkeys routinely visiting our yard, which is kind of fun, especially when you see them in one part of the neighborhood and then realize there’s food at our place and suddenly start to gallop across the street and lawn to get to the food. It’s kind of surreal to watch turkeys gallop.
I liked the lyrics, but didn’t care too much for the beat.
John Poindexter is installing software to monitor us.
I guess the horns are dipicted in the birds’ head markings and they are not actual three dimensional rises?
I’m watching the McLaughlin Group. What qulaifications does Monica Crowley have except for taking Dick Tation from Dick Nixon?
Cokie Roberts continues her career as a Republican shill. Last week she was arguing that the Iraq War was going so well that it was dangerous for Democrats to be against it. This week she trots out the chestnut that McCain is running even with Obama and Clinton, except he isn’t.
Can anyone remember far enough back to when she was supposed to be a “fresh” voice or when NPR was the “alternative” to the mainstream media?
new post by Christy!
NPR? National Propaganda for Republicans.
I don’t watch this Weak with Stephanopoulis
We’re in n.e. OH. Where are you? We don’t get the snow buntings at all :-(
And it’s a rare day to see the horned larks.
Speaking of galloping turkeys. We have friends in upper MI who seem pleased to have a flock of about 50(!) of the darn things chowing down on store-bought seed in their yard this winter. We settle for a modest few, heh.
Stay warm, Julie, and thanks. I enjoy visiting your website. Wonderful pix. ;->
I’m hoping they’ll let me take pictures today. If not, I’ll post about my experience anyways. Thanks! ;-)
Actually, the feathers do tuft up at times, making 3d “horns.” I have a much older (and not very good) photo that illustrates this quite well, linked here
John McCain pledges a clean campaign. Oh sure. He will have surrogates do the dirty woirk like the Republiklan party did in 2000 and 2004.
The Blame for Bush’s reign shall fall mainly on McCain.
There’s a guy in my town who feed the turkeys. Some days you drive down past his house and he’s walking up the street with 15 turkeys behind him! Love it.
Once I had a wild turkey run out in front of my trail motorcycle. I was travelling along a narrow path as it came out of the brush, pulled out in front of me and ran like nothing I had ever seen. Very fast, yet oddly uncoordinated in running style. Its head was turning from side to side looking for a turn-off. It found one quickly enough and darted off onto another path into the woods.
I wish PPS would accept NO government and corporate funding and let the people support it in some way other than drives. What a difference that would make! Whoever pays the piper gets to select the tune.
If the Republiklan party brings up national defense and national security as issues for their candidate this fall
tell people that the myth of Republiklan party strength on national defense exploded on the plane that hit the world trade center on Sept 11, 2001.
Fresh thread all — sorry about the mix-up earlier (hit publish when I meant to save).
Oh, we are so much farther down the information path than that…take a peek at a number of Scarecrow’s posts on that issue, for starters. :)
Actually, they do have feathers along the sides of the crown that can raise up, and resemble “horns”.
Oh, and I just noticed in our field guide (Sibley. Guide to Birds), apparently the Old World skylark CAN be found in the New World now. But someone cheated, heh. There’s supposed to be a small, introduced population near Vancouver, BC. I guess someone must have gotten homesick for the “real” thing, since our American one only twitters. Can’t have everything, but humans do try…
I saw your link. Thanks for the birducation. :)
Christy, have you read the French version of Forbidden Truth: Secret US- Taliban Oil Diplomacy and the failed hunt for Bin Laden?
The 2 French authors virtually accuse George W Bush of provoking the 9-11 attacks.
Actually, what might look uncoordinated to us might be something quite natural, & could make it much more difficult for a predator in hot pursuit to grab the turkey. Just a thot.
Nope — haven’t read it.
The authors: John Charles Brisard and Guilliaume Dasquie and one of them worked for French intelligence.
Will take a peek at it — thanks for the rec… I do know that Bush’s cowboy diplomacy and “my way or the highway” attitude from the start of the administration rankled with a lot of people. And we consistently see the results of his failures, don’t we? Blergh…
The result of this weekend’s storm.
Time to set the table. We’re not going to be too late to this soiree are we?
