For all the talk of momentum after last Tuesday, these comments clearly reflect the fact that they know “the math” is still against them.</p> <p>So, the approach becomes “McCain & I” are the Very Serious Candidates and junior here just made a speech. This is for the benefit of the superdelegates , because she can’t win unless they go against the popular vote & pledged delegates.</p> <p>She is risking the Clinton legacy with this approach, and I don’t think it’s gonna work. All she is succeeding at is alienating Democratic voters.
