We should all give thanks to Bill and Hillary Clinto-for bringing out these truths -AND THROWING THEM IN OUR FACES - and for poor silly Obama to be so naieve:

…someone needs to tell poor silly Barack Obama-that there is a brown America -and a white America -that we are divided -and that not a chance in hell exists to get the old smell out of Washington.
And Bill and Hillary even have one up on McCain: they’re already at the gates of hell.

I’m watching “the advantages” of a Democratic Congress right now with FISA. I’m having trouble seeing where on a crucial vote or confirmation this Democratic Congress has provided anything different than what Bush has dictated. EPU”d but I’ll catch up with you.

I didn’t say no one’s going to be holding their nose. Because if it comes down to Clinton vs. McCain, would you really rather have McCain? Because that’s basically your choice at that point. You can sit it out and not vote for a candidate you don’t like, but you can’t avoid responsibility if McCain wins and you could have prevented it.

I hope things work out the way they’re looking, and you get to vote for a candidate you like. But if not, please consider the advantages of a Democratic Congress not having to overcome vetoes, and not having Supreme Court appointments in the hands of a man who has declared he’ll appoint people like Alito and has a need to prove he’s a “true conservative.” And that’s just for starters. Your country needs you.

I do not know how to rationalize the Clintons on Iraq and Afganistan and her restriction on social programs to mostly study commissions, her refusal to disclose her tax returns until after the nomination and the fact that she will have the WJC problem. Remember her arogant posture that if you do not agree with her Iraq vote, go find another candidate.

Obama badly needs to get his NAFTA line together after the fumble/setup
of his staffer playing senator with the canuks. There are three big
issues in play, healthcare which HRC is better on, war which BHO is
better on, the economy which he had but blew with the NAFTA flap. He
better get it together and quick, it is all she’s got.

Many of us in Pennsylvania are not ‘rattled’ just simply not looking forward to becoming an (un)Civil War ‘battleground’ for negativity and destructive posturing.

Whomever ‘wins’ will need the support of the ‘other’ as well as the continued involvement of the other’s ‘troops’.

Should this ’struggle’ turn people ‘off’ then, once again, ‘defeat will
have been…’ but you all know how that goes.

Incidentally, Pete, I appreciate your ‘in depth’ commentaries, and read them all; just as I read everyone else’s.

Pete, your argument doesn’t hold water. He is doing well. Just because Hillary says something do you think people aren’t smart enough to think for themselves? Why is Obama getting even one vote. I don’t want to fight with you either, but do I think hillary is worse than mccain fuck no. You should spend more energy worrying about what Mccain is going to do to Obama should he get the nod.
