I know this is wild speculation, but maybe Clinton won today because more Democrats preferred her as their presidential candidate than preferred Obama.

I suspect the two were equal, or that Obama was ahead, but that the Republican ”cross-overs” [a la Rush] is what did it.

NB: blockquote no-workee.

I would bet money the Clinton campaign called and asked if she could be on the Daily Show just like McCain did a couple months ago, IIRC. Stewart pointed that out in the interview that they called and asked to be on the show. McCain isn’t what typical Daily Show viewers want to see.

Good points all around. But put the daily show with SNL and all the “comeback” press she got this week, and it had an impact. The timing of her appearance on the daily show was no accident.

Barack made a mistake or two, and he’s playing defense when a little offense is now called for.

I’ll give Hill credit for a little more metal than I figured she had here in Texas. I’m suprised, never expected it from talking to folks around town here, but Austin isn’t Texas, and she adjusted and come across pretty well lately.

Yeah, I’m over reacting, but media did step up for her, and it sure helped. And I’m still peeved at Stewart.

Interesting comment. Doesn’t sound to me like this is a person who just makes threats. I hear commitment. Anyone with a “d” after their name will do? I don’t think so.

I think the pic of Obama in Muslim garb hurt him alot.

I tend to agree, knowing my neighbors as I do.

But the real question is, who leaked the picture? Should we trust Drudge to be telling us the truth? Did Clinton decide to play that terror card? I sure wouldn’t put it past her. But then again, the Clintons haven’t exactly been the best Drudge sources over history…

I agree with you. CNN reports that Obama is up by 81 delegates at this moment: http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/20.....orecard/#D

***
If I were a Hollywood script writer, I’d have been proud to call the Tuesday, March 4th Act — “Cliffhanger, Redux: The Revenge of Super Tuesday Indecision”
