The precinct chair says this was the largest crowd she has seen; only had 6 or 7 in 2004. Fairly new area north of Stone Oak, voting at a church on Borgfield. Are you referring to living so close to a giant base, or Texas in general, or both? I’m a former Yankee, myself. Moved from Boston to rural Oklahoma in the ’80’s. Whew! Couldn’t have been much more different than moving to say, Albania, to me.
