I found two surveys for OHIO just ahead of the Potomac Primaries.

Quinnipac had it 55%-43% Clinton with 12% Undecided
Survey USA had 56%-39% with 2% undecided.

In Texas they had a Texas Credit Union Survey with Clinton ahead of Obama 49%-41% (8% Undecided)
and there was a IVR poll that had Clinton 48%-Obama 38% with 10% Undecided.

If the numbers hold up Ohio didn’t change much…or actually fell back in the last few days to previous levels. But Obama still appears to have captured the undecided from that point. It’s just that, according to these polls, the folks that were pro-Clinton before, some of whom he had won over, got “sticker shock”. That turn around happened in the course of a few days. Since the “revelation” from the Canadian Government.

Texas has shown a strong Obama push with very little change for Clinton.

It might stand for delegate distribution…but they’d have to be working out the districts to do that correctly. Maybe it’s just an estimate of delegates won.

Kirk…oh, fine. I know all about the Forrestal Fire, hard to escape being a former 70’s/80’s Naval Aviator who was on lots of ships including the Forrestal. Stick this link in there then… John McCain, Clansman.

Delegates in Texas are allocated by State legislative districts based upon votes in prior elections. Hispanic turnout can be massive in San Antonio but because so many Hispanics voted for a Republican in the last two elections they don’t get allocated as many delegates as a strongly Democratic black district in Houston. It all depends on the distribution of votes in THOSE districts b/w Clinton and Obama…not overall turnout of one ethnicity vs. the other. And BTW Hispanics are not so monolithic in Texas as in California.
