At the risk of being on topic here, I recall hearing CNN’s Michael Weir report that much of the reduction in sectarian violence in and around Baghdad is the fact that the coalition forces have walled off neighborhoods from each other, preventing free movement in many areas. This does’nt sound like a strategy for successful reconciliation to me. It seems the surge’s main success so far has been to keep people apart and from killing each other.

You know, Pete, I’m in Ohio. I vote Tuesday.
Thanks for helping me make up my mind.

I know you’re in Ohio Margot? You asked me the other day if I was there and I told you I had lived there for 2 years while training and the people were great.

Please give us a blog for what your experience is when you go to the polls Tuesday and enjoy yourself. There will be a lot of posters to take down Wednesday. I wonder what happens to all of them? Mayb they just stay up and the bumper stickers as well for years.

IT WAS YOU WHO FUCKING MENTIONED IT WITHOUT PROOF IN THE FIRST PLACE.

What did I mention without proof? What do you want/need proof of?

I don’t know where the drug thing came from or is in reference to. Rush Limbaugh’s paying Roy Black over a million to get him an extraordinary deal? Jeb’s daughter who forged Rx’s? Did the Bush twins do this?

I’m all for your enjoying your fantasies and if one of them is that I’m Republican rock on.

People who do know me would get quite a kick out of that however. They’d wonder what I’m doing with the Obama signs and stickers. I have converted several Republicans to voting for Obama in the general though (whose primaries are over) and some in the primary as well.

I don’t understand what you are asking for proof of Kay. You want me to footnote everything that I say? You perhaps wanted to see a BAC/or gastric aspirates from December 2006 trips to bars on Chelsea? You wanted proof that she was a 22 year old history major who was given a $120,000 job at the British Company McKenzie Group’s NYC offices and then was told to leave after they maximized their publicity and then ran to her daddy who got her a hedge fund job for which she qualified as a college history major and oh yeah using her Dad’s policy papers prepared by people paid by you and me to turn in somethnig that she called a master’s thesis?

I’m really starting to have a hard time with tone-deaf people. LOL I don’t usually discriminate like that either. ;-)
