I’ve been re-reading Bill of Wrongs, her last book with Lou Dubose, in preparation for Saturday’s book salon at 5 pm ET/2 pm PT, and this popped right out at me:
The idea that man is the product of evolution rather than God’s hands never seemed quite right to Rick Santorum. After the Supreme Court banned the teaching of the queerly oxymoronic "creation science" in the nation’s public schools, Santorum started promoting "intelligent design" — which looked suspiciously like creation science in drag. This sanitized version of creationism holds that "forms of life began abruptly through an intelligent agency, with their distinctive features already intact, fish with fins and scales, birds with feathers, beaks and wings…"…
Santorum wasn’t the only marquee Republican preaching the gospel of intelligent design. President George W. Bush is a Methodist — a denomination associated with moderation, particularly in Texas, where the loopier religious right is defined by firebreathers like San Antonio’s Reverend John Hagee, who has proclaimed from his pulpit that Hurricane Katrina was proof that God was angry with homosexuals in New Orleans.
Now, as we know, Sen. McCain was busy receiving a birthday cake from George Bush in the early days of the disastrous unfolding of Katrina’s wake in the Gulf Coast region, but I’d love to hear him answer — on the record — exactly what he thinks of his new bestest buddy John Hagee’s anti-homosexual pronouncement about the reason for the storm.
And while we’re asking questions, perhaps Sen. McCain can explain why he believes in evolution. Oh wait, now he says he doesn’t completely and intelligent design ought to be taught in American classrooms if states think it is science. Now he says he doesn’t think so at all, that he does believe in evolution (depending on what the meaning of "evolution" is). Now he says he maybe kinda sorta doesn’t again. And how that squares with Rev. Hagee’s "intelligent design" designs.
Or about Rev. Hagee’s pronouncement that it isn’t a matter of "if" we go to war with Iran, but "when."
Or Hagee’s push for Armageddon which makes John Bolton look milquetoasty. Or Hagee’s thought that the United Nations is just a front for the anti-Christ and that we are all doomed by freaky computer chips by which we will be marked (via Glenn Beck’s Headline News show…no, I’m not kidding):
BECK: Do you believe that — do you believe that we, you and I, will see these times?
HAGEE: We will not see the antichrist. In Christian theology the next thing that is to happen, because the signs of the time say that we are the terminal generation, is that Christ is seen to appear. There’s not another Bible scripture that has to be fulfilled for Jesus Christ to come in what is called the Rapture of the Church.
Many people confuse the Rapture of the Church with the Second Coming. The Rapture of the Church happens where all of the people who believe in Jesus Christ are taken into heaven.
Then the next thing that happens immediately is the appearance of the antichrist. The appearance of the antichrist, he comes as a man of peace, as the prince of peace to the whole world.
Daniel says he will destroy wondrously with peace. That means he’s going to make peace treaties, never intending to keep them, but he has the world in a state of peace. He will create a one-world government. We see something of that going on in the United Nations. He will bring about a one-world currency.
BECK: He’ll do this all in seven years?
HAGEE: All in seven years. He’ll do it quicker than seven years. Every person will have to receive his mark in their right hand or forehead, without which they cannot buy nor sell. You cannot buy a loaf of bread…
BECK: How freaked out were you when you saw the chips now that we can implant that are RFID chips that will do that very thing? And they’re even making them, I understand, to fuse with the body because they’re afraid of theft.
HAGEE: Yes.
BECK: So once they’re implanted in you, you cannot cut them out.
HAGEE: That’s exactly right.
BECK: When I heard that, I went, oh, that’s not good.
HAGEE: All of the technology is just in place. There will be you a one-world government, a one-world currency, a one-world religion. This lines up with what your researchers are talking about.
The Bible then says he will understand dark sentences, which means he will have a demonic anointing to know the unknown.
So, um, is there something about John McCain’s foreign policy that we need to know about now in light of Hagee’s endorsement of him? Because that reads like a laughable Omen movie reject plot. When I was a kid, we had a Sunday School teacher who got kicked out of teaching our youth class because he was obsessed with trying to get us to take every bit of Revelations literally and our pastor told him to can it with the "scare the kids" crap. (Not quite those words…)
Guess Pastor Hagee doesn’t feel that way. Wonder how McCain feels? Shouldn’t someone ask him on the record if he’s so excited to get Hagee’s endorsement and all? Because if his foreign and domestic policy is aligned with Pastor Hagee’s view of the world, I think we all have a right to know. In detail.

Christy!

I didn’t know there was a debate. Please forgive, Christy. Obama vs. Clinton in Cleveland right now on MSNBC.
bon apres midi a toi de Paris, Christy, France, toi et Le Peanut!
Rerun, must be. Sorry…
Hi, Christy!
So, Biodun, before I read the post, I thought you were going to sleep? How’s the Eiffel Tower? Hope you’re having fun!
thank you for watching this so I didn’t have to as that man is a hemorrhoid on the ass of humanity
McCain released this statement, which serves as an opening for the press to grill him on which specific Hagee ideas he “renounces”:
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/180846.php
It’s a rerun of last Tuesday’s debate. Russert is just as awful the second time.
Ahhhh, Paris…one of these days, I’ll finally get to visit…enjoy the cuisine for me, would you?
Biodun is probably sitting in a McDonald’s having a cheeseburger.
One of the great things about being a straightshooter is never having to explain your inconsistencies.
Hagee is batshit crazy…he’s picking McCain, because he knows that McCain is batshit crazy enough to start a bunch more wars….McCain is a hypocrite and a neocon tool.
McCain’s got some splain’ to do for sure.
Biodun was saying it was one o’clock in the morning there so may not be a lot open for eats.
There are some great bistros open 24/7…
Do take the time to peruse the entire batshit crazy interview transcript with Glenn Beck. It’s bizarre — and it was on Headline News. In primetime. Hellllllooooo….
Personally, I can’t wait for the rapture so I can wave bye-bye to the morons as the ascend to the heavens.
I posted in the last thread but I had my worst and one of the my best meals in Paris. the bad had to do with andouille (I thought it would be like what I normally get in Louisiana) but instead ended up being chitlins in a casing *shudder*. Lucky for me, the next evening more than made up for it but thank goodess I found a little mini market and could get that taste out of my mouth thanks in part to pringles and a toblerone (this was before I went raw)
LOL — toblerone and pringles. Now THAT is a combo… *g*
no pickles
Holy shit, Christy.
Hagee’s a nutter – they’re both nutters: content marked by persecutory delusions.
And the (non-protesting) viewers….? WTF?
nope. I went to sleep two hours ago (around Midnight Paris time–all Paris time) and woke up at 1:20 AM Saturday. Got into De Gaulle 9: AM Friday morning. Slept around Noon. Got up around 4 PM. Went on errands and then to dinner with friends. Slept at Midnight.
Jetlag…decalage d’horaires…
A one Euro cheeseburger…!
We’re talking about Paris, Friday night. The “city of light.” Surely there’s a McDonald’s open.
~~Just the Stats: U.S. Students Lag Behind in Math and Science~~

~~U.S. Teens Trail Peers Around World on Math-Science Test
The disappointing performance of U.S. teenagers in math and science on an international exam, in scores released yesterday, has sparked calls for improvement in public schools to help the country keep pace in the global economy.
The scores from the 2006 Program for International Student Assessment showed that U.S. 15-year-olds trailed their peers from many industrialized countries. The average science score of U.S. students lagged behind those in 16 of 30 countries in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, a Paris-based group that represents the world’s richest countries. The U.S. students were further behind in math, trailing counterparts in 23 countries. ~~~ read on
That statement by McShame doesn’t even make a wit of sense! The fact that someone endorses you is non-volitional on ones part….
The problem is that McShame “gladly welcomed” the endorsement of this lunatic bigot.
That right there is the distinction between Farrakhan endorsing Obama, and Hagee endorsing McShame. Obama denounced (and rejected) Farrakhans endorsement…McShame went out of his way to welcome Hagee’s.
So what, specifically, are the views of Hagee that McShame agree’s with…granting that he “agree with all of Pastor Hagee’s views”? Which DOES he agree with? America wants to know!
“Batshit crazy”- I was hoping our resident shrink would be around to speculate that the offical DSM diagnosis for Hagee might be, but “batshit crazy” has a certain ring to it.
I ate lamb brains in France, quite by accident. I had French in high school and early college, but that was many (many!) years ago. So I could read the menu, and recognized “lamb” which I love, but not the modifier. I didn’t discover until well into the meal that it was BRAINS. And they were good, although I might not have ordered them if I’d known.
Scarecrow:
Ne’er touch the stuff, even State-side…Went to dinner with a friend at a swank restaurant on Les Champs-L’Elysees (my friend is loaded–Genevieve Broutechoux (she’s on My Facebook), where they have hot spot wifi so I could connect to you guys and my global email…
And sought the endorsement, I understand.
I love using “batshit crazy” too. Conjures up the image of one banging rocks together and screaming at trees in the park. LOL
Agreed. Great post Christy. And as long as McCain is kow-towing to the same sort of nuts who’d still be putting Galileo under house-arrest today, I’m feeling incredibly optimistic about November.
oh, kirk, I see you’re here- see my 28
I think Hagee listens to Lieberman enough to know their Armageddon dreams are best invested in McCains campaign.
Lamb brains? Good golly.
I think Hagee thinks McCain is the antichrist:
HAGEE: There is a — there is a very strong teaching that the antichrist will produce a one-world government.
BECK: OK. He will lead military action against all those who oppose him.
HAGEE: That is true.
BECK: He`s referred to here many times that he`s a great warrior. But I mean, that`s the way the Jews saw Jesus originally, too. That`s why they rejected him. They saw that he was supposed to be a conqueror, and he conquered through peace. Could it be the same kind of thing here?
HAGEE: Well, I believe that they`re looking for a warrior from day one, and they believe that, if they create the Third World War or a massive confusion on the face of the earth, that he will mysteriously and suddenly appear and come to their rescue.
BECK: Hasten it.
HAGEE: Yes.
BECK: He will invade many countries. He will make a seven-year peace treaty with a Jew of priestly lineage.
MayDaze EPU’d from the Blackwater thread:
tangential, but here’s some classic Molly Ivins from January 20, 2006:
Don’t feel bad, I was with mr wobbs, who speaks french but I still insisted on getting what I thought was sausage (and it was if you count sausage as anything stuffed in a casing) but ended up being pig intestines/ass
I saw that McCain loves him some Hagee earlier today. Have you ever encountered a larger Republican base suckup than Mr. McCain? McCain is beyond the pale. John McCain is becoming viewed for me and my lady as increasingly odd. And dangerous.
Ever had a look at, and a listen to, Hagee’s son?
It is a pleasure to see CHS mop the floor with McCain and his caucus.
Sounds like you’re too excited to sleep! Can’t say I blame you. First trip? (I’m thinking not!) My one and only excursion to Europe was to Amsterdam! That was a very good time, but then, I wasn’t working. Have some fun while you’re at it. We’ll expect full reports. Good luck?
and may the lord god protect us from the hagee and the mcpain, and the armageddon they portend.
So, what is that, about $2 American now?
yep–McDonalds are open in 24/7 Arrondisements, and they all have wifi hot spots! My friend Genevieve (whom I’m staying with) told me this. I never go to McDonalds, even in the US…
I honestly tried to figure out the stance on evolution — but it keeps morphing. I get the whole “I believe in evolution, but who knows what a day is for the hand of God, and thus, there’s always room for a little divinity and grace in the development.” thesis, truly I do. But that isn’t McCain’s position, at least in its last incarnation…frankly, I’m not sure what it is, it’s parsed so damned thinly that I couldn’t figure out where in the hell he was ultimately trying to go with it other than to confuse the shit out of himself.
I don’t think a Prez McCain will choose diplomacy. The impression is that this man has the potential to be even more frightenng on the world stage than George W. Bush.
Did you partake in any of the lovely ‘green salads’ while in Amsterdam? ;-)
If the Mayans were correct, then the “end” will come in 2012. With McCrazy at the helm (or a republican), it will. See?
am a world traveler. Have been since I was 14 years old…Been to all 5 continents and lived in 4 of them–the only exception is South America. But I’ve visited Chile and Argentina and Brazil…
Hi VG!
“batshit crazy” works great for me…
I’m hoping it will make DSM-V as a new Thought Disorder diagnosis.
Surely Punkinhead, who seems lately to be on the “intolerant minister” beat, will be asking St John when he drops by to Meet the Press about this Hagee fellow’s views and whether he, McCain, rejects or denounces him.
Actually, I recall Barack Obama making the distinction in the last debate that, since there was no active support on offer from Farrakhan, there was nothing to reject. Not so for McCain, as Hagee’s active support has been offered and accepted. Clever Barack.
McCain’s stand on the religious right reminds me of Nixon warning an aide as they climbed the steps to the Mormon headquarters in Utah, “You are going to hear me say a lot of things in there but it’s all shit.” (I paraphrase)
If you’re a night owl with energy and a penchant for dancing, there’s a decent discotheque just off the Champs Elysees, “club 79,” rue Quentin Beauchard. Good 70’s/80’s music; friendly people.
I think that John McCain has more in common with the Dick (Cheney) than he has with Bush. Huckabee for Secretary of Defense under President McCain. Now there’s a delicious thought.
We support Obama. In this home.
I’ve been operating on the 2012 Mayan point of view. But thanks to George W, it’s gonna be a tight squeeze.
Thanks, egregious!
Doesn’t that cost a bundle? Dumb question, I know, but my nephew went to Rocky Point, Mexico from here in Phx., and he ended up with a $3,000 bill for just one week. Actually, I think it was only 5 days. He said that they gave him a $600 limit, which he thought they would cut him off when he reached it, but they didn’t, and they never told him that the rates for out of country computer use are very high. Man, what a trip! A $3K phone bill I can’t even imagine!
Meanwhile, a view of the US election cycle by Justin Webb of the BBC World Service.
Hilarious actually.
I watched Hagee and his son rant the other day. It is simply mind blowing. I want to know about the origins of the Hagee’s financing.

McCain’s candidacy is a real mess. One screw-up after another. He’s alienating everyone. Hagee may get pissed (like that radio guy) and take back his endorsement tomorrow. No money. No support from the base. I’d say he’s in trouble. If I were McCain, I’d be worried that someone is going to take the nomination away from him. Not Huck, but maybe Mitt.
LOL Kirk
That’s scary. It looks like a Nazi rally.
My Lord.
That video is classic. Delay: “I live for the rapture.”
Hi, egregious!
That’s just going from one religious zealot nut to another!
the tabs for most of my world travels have been picked up by:
–my parents (before I was 21)
–various publishers I worked for
–CBS–in the mid 1980s
–U of MN Press–in the early 1990s
–my frequent-flyer miles that I racked up during all of the above (which generous employers allowed me to keep–what a racket!
–BBC News (via on of heir top correspondents–a friend who subcontrated me)
And McCain likes Hagee? Good God!
McCain said he’s a liberal conservative Puke, and then corrected himself to say that he’s just a conservative Puke.
The Mayan calendar is fascinating in that they’ve plotted the known stars positions exactly and their charting covers 3,000+ years in their ephemeris… So why does it end on 12/21/2012…? ;-)
But the Jewish people, I understand, if they don’t convert to Hageeism, are headed to hell.
But if the rapture comes tomorrow McCain won’t get to be president. He may have to choose.
My son’s into the 2012 theory. If the repubs steal another presidency, I’m signing on.
thanks for the Post. CHS And JH have been doing great work, focusing on McCain. I think it is very important to highlight, focus on and generally ’splain exactly what this very extreme and odd form of religion implies for decisions that will greatly affect foreign policy and national security issues.
These nutcase heretics (and I do believe they are heretics in the traditional sense of that word) already may have affected foreign policy. When Cheney/Bush approved of Sharon’s idea of give up Gaza, the Hagee crowd went ballistic. That is because on the basis of some close and questionabe reading of certain Bible verses, Gaza can be interpreted as part of King David’s Israel. So, some Cheney/Bush flunky went to the trouble of arranging a special meeting with these heretics to persaude them that Sharon’s policy was OK since if you read the Bible correctly, Gaza was never part of the ol’ King Dave’s Israel. So, giving it up wold not interfere with their nutcase ideas on the End Times.
So it may be irresponsible to speculate, but it is not irresponsible to start a very close and persistant line of inquiry about what influence these heretics have on our foreign policy already. And what influence they will have in a McCain administration.
I hope CHS, JH and the FDL crew come up with a list of questions for McCain in future interviews and debates. I hope they post them prominently, and keep track of whether they are asked (especially be Bulldog Tim Russert). And, if they are asked, how comptetent the questioning is, and how satisfactory the answers.
Who is using whom. Is Israel using the United States? Or is it the other way around?
It appears that John gave conflicting views today about the cause of Autism and spoke about the vaccine as if it still had thimerosol in it.. http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/
You scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.
My desk calendar ends December 31, 2008. :)
Put it this way: my son said if he heard “Let’s go to a coffee shop!” one more time he was going to disown me! He wanted to take me shopping. I told him I could do that in the US. It was a very, very, good time!
McCain has a very weak mind.
I figured as much from some of your previous posts. But then again, it is Paris, after all. I doubt that you get there every day, so just enjoy.
And this gruesome bit from the Beeb:
And now, why did I think of Timmeh with thst Pumpkin-(hesd) part?
Yes. I think what you are saying is true. But where does that get us to? My fear is perhaps the rapture. I’m not ready to, quite frankly, be raptured yet. Hope you are having a nice evening, my friend. ;0)
I also want to add, as a very liberal Christian, the Hagee crowd’s ideas on Daniel, Revelations, End Times, Second Coming, etc., is not ‘old time religion’. They seem to think they are recovering some old time tough love Christianity that has been lost. But, dude, if we were all back in CE 200, or 500, or 1000, or 1500 or whatever, most Christian theologians, and preacher-dudes would have responded to these weird and nutty ideas about the End Times with WTF, are you nuts? (probably expressed differently, but same sentimatent). These are recently cooked up theories over the last 150 years ago. Very odd, and in my opinion, by traditional standards, very heretical.
Not that I give a rat’s ass about whether some one is an old time heretic or not, but I think that is the case.
McCain it is felt here, has gone over the top with his support of Hagee. And this man is the Republican frontrunner?
Nice work if you can get it, as they say. My son is a publisher, so he’s a frequent flyer and world traveler too. I believe he’s been to all the continents except possibly Africa. I don’t think he had any business interests there.
I’m having a great evening, getting ready to go hear Mr. LS play in Austin tonight…reunion of “Fever Tree”.
Actually, as I recall (it was about 8 years ago) they were quite good. In some sort of tasty sauce. I finished every morsel, even after knowing what I was eating. But I look back on it and chuckle.
Lahma tells me not to worry kiddo, about the rapture. She’ll let me know when it’s about to happen.
Hey has anyone seen JayT around here lately? I’ve been trying to get in touch with him.
Glad it worked out but in my case, the mr (who was my bf at the time –first romantic holiday together) laughed his ass off and I found comfort later in the aforementioned Pringles and Toblerone
We’ll know when the rapture happens…McCain and Bush and Hagee will all disappear and there will be peace on earth. /s
hi fini – good to see you!
jayt was here within the last few days, iirc…
Often wrong but never in doubt.
Looks to me like McCain is trying to get all of his pandering to the right wing of the party over now before the general election campaign starts hoping few if anyone will notice how nuts the right wing of the GOP really is. He is more likely to get away with this stuff now than when the general election campaign starts because the MSM may revoke his pass by then.
Hey, Ann..
They have planes that will jet you to Paris.
It’s true.
You could be at McDonald’s right now.
(PS..to all…
If I were in Paris, for buisness or otherwise, y’ wouldn’t be hearing from me.
Perspective, babies.
(L.O.FDL)
Actually, I’ve not seen him in awhile…! 8-(
Let’s see, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North America, South America, Antarctica…that’s seven?
Hey Kirk!
If you bump into him around here let him know I’ve been trying to get in touch with him by email and phone, would you?
I think we are seeing some problems unfolding the planned series of tableaux protraying the dignified procession of the safe moderate dignfiied and very responsible HONEST STRAIGHT TALKING and dependable whitebread daddy St John McCain
to the WH.
The tableaux have to arranged to impress two auciences. The two audiences have incompatible opinions regarding what constitutes common sense and sanity and wisdom versus depraved lunacy. The is a serious problem for the GOP and it is our very important duty to prevent them from sovling through fraud and deceit upon the voting population of the United States.
A veritable clean slate, eh?
They ought to put in a John Hagee ride in Disney World.
Eli’s upstairs and another Canuck got teh Zed
i hope this report is false.
Watching Larry King… seems like Obama’s comeback ad has consistently been getting the last word on all the shows today – and that’s the value of rapid response.
The thing is, I can understand the reasons the fundies and the radical right base take McCain seriously. But the comprehension end there.
Sounds like he’s going after all the splinter voters, on the theory that if he can get enough splinters together, he might be able to make a stick out of it. I think all he’s going to get is a hand full of splinters.
Bob in HI
ha..if you weren’t my friend….*g*
Europe; Africa; Asia-Pacific; North America; South America–five by my count…
Wondering about those polls and why they can go ”so wrong” this time. Well look at these demographics that the pollsters use in ”massaging” their results to fit their prediction of who will be a likely voter in the Texas Primary.
http://www.pollster.com/blogs/…..s_poll.php
Tell me if they really think that the number of African-Americans turning out will be the same as it was in 2004, or if the relative numbers of over-65 year old voters will be proportionately the same in an election with high interest amongst your voters?
It seems most of the pollsters think that the turnout will mirror 2004…I think they are very wrong, and that the figures they are using almost all diminish likely Obama turnout. Maybe, I’m wrong but given the fact that Obama is leading in many of these polls that should ”lean Clinton” could it be that Texas may actually turn out to have a net gain in delegates FOR Obama?
As for that, I’ve been to Patagonia–not quite Antarctica but close..
Re St John McCaon and immunization/autism:
My main reactoin is that McCain is a day late and a doller short on this topic, as in most others. The key reason he is whiffing on this is below form the Tapper column referenced in comment above:
—
Moreover, he made it sound as if the thimerosal is still in vaccines — though as I understand it, **thimerosal is all but gone in almost every childhood vaccine now**, and has been for years.
This could be quite controversial.
—-
Tapper gives the wrong impression with the phrase *has been for years* It has been gone for only 7 or 8 years, barely enough time to get reliable statistical data on effect the preservative may have had on incidence of autism using time series statistical analysis. That is one reason why there is still controversy over causative role the preservative may have had in the rise in incidence of autism.
I have the feeling that John McCain’s admirers in the press are counting on his cynicism. They seem to want to believe that he is just stringing the wingnuts and the fundies along. They persist in believing that he is a maverick and a straight-shooter no matter how hard-right his voting record is, no matter how many times he tells obvious falsehoods.
The weird thing is that they’ll actually pay attention to this whack job from the Catholic League.
Well, if we are on the topic of the Mayan Calendrical End Times, I bring you the amazing Anton Barbeau and “When I was 46 in the Year “13″
And watch with what aplomb the poor lad confronts disaster when he loses his gitar-jack! Typical rollicking free-form from the Pretender-Prince of folk-psychedelia!
Anton is popular in both Oxford-Cambridge and in the Sacramento-area (though we see him less and less in these parts nowadays).
Christy, I have come late to this string, but we all must ask everybody, especially the MSM before the Sunday shows, if they plan to question the intentions of a candidate so intent on the Hagee endorsement if he wants to see the end of the world. We should have asked Bush and Cheney the same several years ago. We are well on THEIR way to destruction, regardless of what all of us want, regardless of what should be done to save our planet and humanity from their perverse superstition (or is it something much more sinister?). I believe it is indeed evil intent based on ignorance and I do not choose to agree to their agenda.
Will Russert ask St. McCain on his position vis a vis Hagee? I think we all know the answer at the moment. Time to contact NBC to encourage them to follow the story.
Trying to figure where these “theologians” are coming from is an exercise in futility. They are like the “Rainman” and his obsessive need to watch “Judge Wapner.” They can have all the evidence in front of them to the contrary and they still will come up with made up bullshit. Hagee is just another in the line with Fallwell, Robertson, Dobson, Swaggert, Bakker and their ilk. They just pull it out of their asses. Religious nutsos. Thank god for athiesim.
You know, in Amsterdam the whores are located in a particular area of town and they stand in a window clearly advertising their wares so you know when you’re looking at one. Here, we put them in our government and make sure they wear a flag lapel pin. Also, I miss Molly Ivins, too. She was the only person that ever managed to make any sense of the mess that is our state government.
OMG. What do they think will happen? You try to remove the device and it explodes? Or do they think they’re like an ink tag but filled with anthrax instead? Is the device clamped around the spinal cord, impossible to remove without crippling or killing?
That’s some amazing fear-mongering. Amazingly stupid.
