This is rich! And Eddie Curran wrote another very obvious attack piece for the Montgomery Independant, with point by point rebuttal from Scott Horton. I was tickled by the disclaimer that editor Bob Martin wrote in a very lengthy editor’s note appended to the first op-ed, and even more tickled that he afforded Mr. Horton the opportunity to rebutt part 2.

Am I misunderstanding something? Isn’t it a good thing to have the immunity vote separate?

Here is the kicker:

Thats is so sweet of you — will definitely let you know. We have a mini only because her momma, a wedding present to us, was a mini — and she was the one from the litter that we kept because she was such a sweet little puppy. But, with The Peanut, a bigger version would probably be preferable anyway. I don’t know anyone locally who breeds wirehairs, so it’s nice to have a connection to someone who does. Don’t be surprised if I e-mail you one of these months to talk about doggies and buying one if you know of a non-show-pooch since what The Peanut really wants is a pal. PJ is now 11 and slowing down considerably, and we are starting to brace ourselves for the inevitable down the road. (Breaks my heart…)
