was reading comments and can’t pass this one up—even though i’m epu’d…….

i posted this 2-13-08 about DAVID WILHELM, everyone should know what kinda guy he really is……..i sent letters all over the damn place, seems like i must have missed a few people, didn’t write msnbc.

david wilhelm, hmmmmmmm……seems like a nice enough guy, good looking, pleasant enough……..

BUT

well, he’s known around these parts………

google lake snowden albany ohio hocking college

there is a lake here that he and a pal tried to develop and make private.

a girl at athens messenger wrote some good articles about it.

it is a public lake, created for water use, many families were ’bought out’ and relocated to make it, now owned by hocking college, long story, it’s in the deed that it remain public access land…….

they tried to thwart that.

one of my friends was directly involved in fighting it.

the locals here even turned out to fight it.

the kind that don’t do that.

you’d a thought someone was trying to take away their rights to own a gun.

the developers pulled out—said that all they were trying to do was bring jobs here……uh huh, waitressing and a cook…….meanwhile, noone would have had access to the best lake in se ohio to camp or fish anymore.

and a corporation would be profiting from public lands, big time…….

they acted like they were the only solution…..we didn’t buy it.

that’s david wilhelm. democrat.

Well, maybe you got nuttin, but Comcast just told the FCC to go screw themselves on Net Neutrality. Those of us who have had Comcast shoved down our throats should cancel and tell them why.

It’s very hard to know what a place is like unless you spend time there. But they have a very supportive research environment for stem cells and they’re pulling some of our best and brightest in their prime and at the top of their game.

If you can’t work with people then you need to marginalize them. The best way to do that is to offer to work with them and when they reject it (as they will), expose them. If you attack immediately you put yourself in a much weaker position because you justify their opposition.

Make the opposition unjustified and you win. Obama understands this.

totally–we have “bipartisanship” now and it just means the GOP gets everything and gets to kill good things–and we all lose.

(and i won’t even start on that total bs 60-vote thing and threats to filibuster — but no one ever makes them actually do it.)

Believe you me, I’ve seriously considered the same thing these past years. Likely will take the leap if McCain gets elected…and fight things from abroad. At some point you need some “brain space” from the madness.
