I am second to no one in my hatred of all things Bush, but I think this was kind of funny. He was obviously *joking*, folks! It was mock reverence. He and Barbara have had a famously contentious relationship.
Do we find him sick for his supposed reverence or his disrespect? Call me a misogynist if you will, but if my mother was a bitch like that, I’d make fun of her, too. What am I saying, “if”? My mother *is* a stoopid Republican bitch too, and I do that shit all the time.
