BTW, I don’t think super-delegates was to give them ‘floor privileges’. It happened during the 1980s when Reagan was winning big and early and Dems were split and looking weak. They created super-delegates jump in and give one Dem candidate huge numbers to appear to have unified the party and taken it all. Of course, it was a charade (sort of like our current government).

Democracy at primary time has yet to catch on. Same with real voting as opposed to the ridiculous caucuses.
