on the other hand, i have known several women who have had breast reduction surgery to relieve back and neck problems. tis major surgery and not an outpatient procedure. the first one’s insurance would not cover it and she paid for it herself. the second one had hers reduced several years later and the insurance company paid and called it medically necessary.

Dood was awesome today, it seemed he was going to go on forever. He covered so much this administration has done in disregard of the laws and constitution of this country. I don’t know how he could have remembered it all. We all him a debt of gratitude. I did donate to his campaign today even though he dropped out….. he earned it and more!

I keep saying this whenever illegal domestic spying comes up. TOR. Get and use tor any time you want to give the finger to government spies.
Tor is an anonymity tool you install and run on your computer. I run a tor client and server and any time I just want to make my net browsing or messaging anonymous, I activate tor and ta-da! I can no longer be identified (so long as I don’t send self-identifying information over the net). I can “torify” instant messaging, browsing websites, and if you setup a free email account for this express purpose, you can send/receive email anonymously too.
You can go further. I also have mixminion and GnuPG installed (linux). With mixminion it is possible to send anonymous emails without an email account at all. With GnuGP (or for windows PGP) you can encrypt your emails on top of sending them anonymously, or you can send them encrypted without anonymity if you just want to prevent the government from being able to read your personal missives to your friends or family.
Seriously folks. Look at PGP (or GnuPG) at least. Look at tor as well. The more Big Brother wants to get into your business, the more you should know of the means of thwarting Big Brother from getting into your business regardless of the law.

I lost my last cat “Ms. Penny” the same way.. You should have seen me in the Vet clinic when they told me.. Shhirley McClaine would have handed her Terms Of Endearment awards over to me in 5 minutes time.

So Sorry I had to put down my last dog.. he liv3ed to be 17 and it was one of the hardest thing I have ever done. I stayed with him until he was gone, we keep his ashes and a picture of him on the family room TV so we never forget him. He gave us his all

Same for me…my boy Blackjack had been poisoned like my two neighbors pups…went to the vets he ended up hammering me with a right hook from the floor of the parking lot where he had pushed me and fell.. as he got up out of nowhere 30 stiches and a tooth. I was only concerned about my dog and finally made it to another vet where he stayed the night he had blood coming out his ailimentary canal…scared me to death…the vet had to par $5,000.00 to pay my bills. BJ is 14 and doing better all the time just can’t run ten miles anymore since he got a bad shoulder which is now looking very good. We are buddhist/plasmatic. Like Kiddo we know plasma is everywhere. LounounLib it can be no other way for all of us just our time yet so we have to give them all the love we can while we can…after that it is beautiful memories.

I support Senator Dodd because of the undeniable truth that he has so eloquently defended on behalf of the Rule of Law, the Constitution, and citizens from every walk of life regarding FISA. Because of his decisive arguments I appeal to your better judgment not to tolerate retroactive immunity for the telecommunications industry nor undercutting the authority of the FISA court systems.

What’s on my mind tonight?

Wondering how I can get people to find out about the Uniting American Families Act, and care enough to contact their representatives in the House and Senate to encourage (or thank them, as the case may be!), for cosponsoring this legislation.

Will you google it and consider? Imagine finding the love of your life and having the choices to A) be an American who must leave the country in order to find another one that allows you to live there together, B) try to sustain a long-distance relationship, C) have the heartbreak of not being able to make one of those two scenarios work.

I got a call from the DNC this afternoon, asking for money. I know that we need a Dem in the White House, and that it is only a piece of the puzzle. I gave the guy on the other end reasons why, despite my knowledge of this, and despite knowing that I will be contributing to various campaigns over the course of the season, I don’t, as a gay person, trust the party, though I will support its candidate. He said he’d check out the UAFA. You should too. And call your elected representatives.

I’m very proud of my 86 year old mother who will be voting tomorrow in Virginia, that she’s planning on voting for Obama, and that she gets it.

I like it. It has a new twist.. it’s current and implies they need to do all the correct things without spelling it all out.

Interesting news item on the TV here in Los Angeles. The popular food chain store, Trader Joe’s, is pulling all Chinese made goods from it’s shelves and will no longer carry any Chinese products. Trader Joe’s spokesperson says this is a result of overwhelming demand by their customers who no longer trust or want to purchase products from China. I wonder if this will become a wave of anti-China trade and other store chains will follow suit. I’m not sure if Trader Joe’s is a nation wide chain but their customers tend to be well educated, informed yuppy/ professional types. Just folks exercising their power?

That and maybe that by not impeaching he is in jeopardy himself for aiding and abetting this administration under international law.

Good idea but probably very hard to pull off nation wide…. but I sure do like the idea of no Chinese food on the shelf… but wait what about Chinese food in general

Closest Trader Joes to me is in St Louis.. about 8 hours drive round trip.

We have two within five miles.. they do have good buys

There’s one about 10 minutes from me, and I shop there weekly for stuff I can’t get anywhere else. Great selection of soy products.

Closest TJ to me is 1,700 miles each way. One of the first places I always go when I hit Seattle.

I love Trader Joes. Whenever i visit friends in Costa Mesa.. we dine out half the time and cook with wonderful ingredients from TJ’s and Iranian grocery stores the rest of the time.

I never was much on Trader Joe’s but I would fight to defend my Panda Express restaurant!

Well.. I had a strange day.. woke up to pea sized hail storm. Went outside and it was about 4 inches deep and 33 degrees.. It rained with lightning and hail until dark.. with no wind. Way to cold for tornado weather.
