Okay…women are 50+ of the population.
Caucasians are 74+ of the population.
Hispanics are 14+ of the population.
Blacks are 12+ of the population.
Every other ethnic group is really small.

HRC or McCain will win.

I project HRC will win, and Bushco will create a cyber event and stay in office.

I hope I am just an idjiot and really off base (most likely).

margot—-yes, that would be wonderful, just went to columbus a week ago, to the aquarium store…….my email is proxima123 at frognet dot net and i’ll have you know, the last time i did that i got lots of crap mail, but is worth it to give you my email.

and raven, i didn’t know he was on with moyers, no, this one was a man, i don’t even know who, but he was from georgia, and it was just him reading with the orchestra behind him……in the mid nineties maybe…..

Yes, Barks is just amazing! He did a reading back in college and I got to spend a little time talking to him. I’ve also got a couple of cassette tapes (this was back in the early 90’s) of both him and Robert Bly reading Rumi poetry with some fantastic middle eastern musicians playing in the background.

Bly introduced me to Rumi, but I think Barks does the best translations.

this is probably epu’d, but that was on pbs years ago, and i have been trying to get a copy of it ever since………..i gave my copy of it to gregory hines…….yes, really…….and i no longer have a copy, it was wonderful………the most memorable thing i have ever seen on tv.

and HI EVERYONE!!!!!!!!! i still don’t have the safari quitting on me issues ironed out, so haven’t been on, someone offered to help, but haven’t had the time to take him up on it, i will soon………

Seems someone put a very editted segment of an interview up that excluded her response to a question before and her comments after the segment put on YouTube. The quote is out-of-context. She would support the nominee…but might not actively work on the campaign if that candidate didn’t support the ideals, positions, policies, etc. that she believed in.

Where’s the problem?

Someone said on the site where this came from that “Any Democrat must work for the election of the nominee.” I’d say that such hard work and committment requires the candidate commit to progressive policies, at least in part. Otherwise there are other candidates in the Congressional races where I’ll put my energies. Maybe Michelle has similar feelings?

No no, i should have added that these were Saturday mornings on NPR where I heard him read a few chapters of several books. He has the funniest, most appealing voice. I wonder if people just go up to him and hug him all day long? lol…it’s that kind of voice.
