As Robert Pirsig so eloquently demonstrated and taught in “Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance”, quality is so much more important than quantity. This is progressive/Integral philosophy - everyone and everything on this planet are interdependent, and the best healthiest distribution of resources are made by visionaries who have transcended their egos.

In a typical corporation charter, there will be a list of corporate responsibilities. The first seven describe the health of the corporation. The last item on the list pertains to shareholders.

For much of the history of young America, there was no personal income tax. The first one was imposed by a Republican, not too surprisingly, to fund a war.

“According to an evaluation of data from the U.S. Department of Treasury, the cost of goods and services remained relatively consistent between 1635 and 1913, around a level of roughly 25 times the buying power of the U.S. dollar in 2006.”

And once the travesty of Dec 23, 1913 was foisted on the people, an income tax was the other ‘gift’ of the scheme. Some believe this is all smoke & mirrors, that once a fiat money system is in place, the only justification for personal income tax is to fool the public abouot the real aims of the private corporation controlling fiscal and monetary policy.

Random events tend to cluster together so it is entirely possible for several underwater cables to be accidentally cut in a short period of time. For some unaccountable reason, such accidents are even more likely to happen when the DOD and NSA are in the vicinity.

Their source seems iffy about there being 4 cuts, they say it may just be 3, trying to sort out multiple reports of perhaps the same thing. And I haven’t heard 4 anywhere else.

Can someone explain to me how you can lower taxes, and give out rebates and continue to increase spending without going broke? Looks like smoke and mirrors to me.

It’s really very easy. You print more money and hope China and oil exporting countries accept it.

That was when Americans were fat and happy with dreams of being rich. Now that everyone is paying attention to the war, economy, healthcare etc we are getting 70%.
Reality sometimes takes awhile to wash away dreams of gold.
