Gloria Borger actually wondered aloud whether it would be disrespectful for the candidates to go after each other on the "hallowed ground" of the
Preznit Death Squad Ronald Reagan Library.
Yes, she said "hallowed ground."
So who thinks any of the candidates would hesitate for a moment out of some innate Republican sense of decorum to play circus geek on Reagan’s grave and bite Ron Paul’s head off for an extra 2 delegates?
*crickets*
Yeah, I thought so.

Jane!
ugh
Oh good – the debate seems to be at the Ronnie Reagan museum – maybe somebody can fire up the engines on that Air Force One and – well – leave it to your imagination….
I shall do my best not to piss anyone off in this thread.
They would play the bongos with Ronnie’s bones if you let them.
Pool-Boy – present, accounted for and good for some serious stupidity, in 5,4,3,2…
I don’t think anyone is going after Ron Paul. He hit back hard in one of the debates. I think they’re a little afraid of someone throwing facts at them.
Gloria Borger, she make fun-nee.
Willard – “I’m not running on Bush’s record.”
Oh Willard, but you are…
Anderson, jump ugly, are you running for governor or prez Mitt?
Listen for any whispers.
Gloria is a walking billboard for Botox.
Well, f*c* you. *g*
McCain is putting me to sleep right now.
lol
No bite.
Shecky,
getfire up the jet!!Are we better off? Anderson should quote the figures from that chart.
He’s even worse that Bush ?
I hope Cooper asks them all the same question again: Are we better off?
Huck says it’s Congress fault.
Huckleberry wants us to remember we had a wild congress! It’s not all W’s fault.
Huck – don’t blame the prez – it was that damned Congress that spent all that money!
Will Huck and McCain gang up on Mitt ?
Which Repug will Tweety slobber over now that Rudy’s gone ?
Nobody could be worse than Bush. On second thought, he’s dynamite!
Can’t wait for them to attack Ron paul for suggesting standard of living is going down. Get ‘em, guys.
Got it … you’re supporting McCain … *g*
OT but KO and Craig Crawford saying NY Post endorsing Senator Obama.
Who is that woman who just asked the question about McCain having a “mainstream record”?
Is McCain left-handed?
As they say ” better pissed off than pissed on”
Per Glenzilla:
I really hope that this is not what Hillary and Barack have in mind when they talk about reaching across the aisle and all that B.S.
I’m still mourning the departure of Edwards, Kucinich and Dodd from the presidential race.
Bob in HI
I’m almost an Amercun patriot…We are reduced to watching American Idol…but I say almost, because I’m just going to “read” the debate here…unless there are some real truths or fireworks revealed….American Idol is very similar to the debates actually…./s
“innate Republican sense of decorum”
Did you mean “inane” here?
So does this mean you managed to piss someone else off on the previous thread again? Was it Flamethrower again? Or maybe a better question is, who was it this time?
Is Simon moderating???? Maybe that would fix this country once and for all…tell them they stink when they really do.
dumbass Romney said that Batshit McCain would make the countrys best Comander in Chief…erroneously put…ONLY THE ARMED FORCES have a commander in Cheif,we have an Emperor(butt nekkid as he is)
What I wouldn’t give for Simon to ask the questions …
Ummmm…the last thread was almost Mutiny on the Bloggy…funny.
NY Post endorses Senator Obama
So much for the idea that Senator Clinton and Murdoch are in the tank for each other.
Yo, Raven,
; )
That table they’re behind is too low. They look awkward. Do they do this on purpose?
Not the last thread, the one before…the mutiny thread…the snubby thread…I’m still laughing…
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius. . .
Sup bro?
McCain, of course!
oh goody – McCain layin’ some smack on Willard – it’s always fun to watch Willard reduced to blubberin’ and fumblin’…
Murdoch will prosper, whichever one of them wins the nomination !
it sukzzzzzzzzzz i only wish te lefty blogshere would have catapulted him to the nomination,as he was the only populist voice
Just givin ya a howdy.
Hey, that’s the Ronald Reagan Crypt/Memorial/Museum to you, friendo ;)
I’ve been there & trust me, hallowed ground feeling you get, uh, not @ all. Nobody else seemed to be feeling that warm St. Ron presence anywhere around me, to judge from the expressions & postures of the gathered on the several days I had to be there on field trips (don’t ask).
My thought while standing @ Ronnie’s memorial- did they place you face up or down, RR… oh wait, I think I know…
It’s the Mitt and John show.
Raven, if you didn’t speak your mind, FDL wouldn’t be as interesting as when you do !
evil mofo
A most pleasant evening to you, Jane…
I took a break, shopped for fresh fruit and veggies and feel sane again. I’m listening to local news which is mostly about the plummeting economy and people’s reduced income plus job losses threatening. It ws either that or lying politicians talking about how good things really are. I need to head for an island with no communication.
Shit I remember that song that was in… oh shit I can’t remember :>)
Back atcha
Huck wishes Rush loved him as much as he loves Rush. Oh, yuk.
… why do you suppose those two got all the press and $$$ ?
I found this endorsement interesting as well…
Aquarius
C’mon ask Ron Paul a question!
oops – Huck bringin’ up that “Change the Constitution” thing again…
How’s that wind chill?
Tax Cuts have not worked for Bush to help the economy. So just how do you Senator McCain or anyone except Ron Paul really plan to pay for the war in Iraq, or any future wars.
Please not that the America People will not be fooled by Bush’s No Tax Tricks again.
Debt Spending is a tax deffered to a later time with interest.
Devaluing the Dollar is a tax that everyone pays so that people with income from other countries can pay the debt back cheaper.
Oh i screwed up,i meant Rooootie, said McStain would mzake the best Cin C
Someone said last night (haven’t investigated it myself) that the radio station that employs Rush is owned by a Romney company.
Will any MSM talking head take questions from US or is the GOP not ready for Prime Time?
Gloria Borger..Is she even a journalist? She spends most of her time on talk shows, it seems.
Willard – there’s no such thing as “higher taxes”. See – all ya gotta do is call ‘em “fees”, and voila there you got. No new taxes.
“Romney/Sophistry 08″!!!
Bain Capitol is Mitts old hedge fund they were working on buying ClearChannel Rush’s employer.
Aww did you have to?? How nice :>)
Are they all vying for the post of VP ?
thyink he OWNS alot here…go check out what the mofo OWNS in Asia…he is like the leader of S.P.E.C.T.R.E.
As the corporate day comes to an end, the conditioned, human resource, debt slaves return home for a night of passive, unconscious, staring.
No wonder Rushie’s so testy these days….:P
Bain Capital Partners bought out Clear Channel a couple of months ago.
It’s chilling–but I ain’t in it. I’ve been a couch potato on my laptop, eating dinner, now watching Keith and drinking red wine, every once in a while peeking at teh NYTimes to see what it’s not covering, and trying to decide whether to watch the Repug debate…
Is that a pup on yer FB?
yea………Lieberputz too
I agreed with J Hamsher’s earlier post today on gender and other types of cards being played, and associated juvenile commentary and strange requests for consideration from suddenly very sensitive and easily hurt rich white guy top dog types. Except the post was too long. Just say the retrograde sexim (and racism and economic class-ism) is all very stupid and very immature and tell the media to stop it. Just call the people doing it jackasses over and over again. I think most of the voting public just needs to be constantly reminded that most of the discource they see in the media is very retrograde and absurd and very stupid -they just need that friendly reminder repeated often enough and I thnk most people will be able to gradually deprogram themselves.
I know that one of the most successful approaches to tobacco control and other public programs to get people to get over harmful habits is to remind them that they are being controlled, they are subjects of attempts at social engineering by whoever profits off of selling them junk. I may have been radicalized or scared into tin-foil hat territory, but do now think the corporate media has been running a social engineering campaign regarding public affairs. The idea is destroy independent grown-up thought on public policy, on candidate, on government and socieity. I wouldn’t claim to know whether it is a conscious scheme, or a function of who they allow to appear on air, or something that has happened in the course of chasing after quick bucks with ratings, but I do think it exsits and is a big problem.
Wear your mucklucks!
he has no Testes ive been told
save your energy/blood pressure
I do do when that was… just playing the old card… ya know… the video is almost OK … but I couldn’t finish it… that was never my kind of music
Could you please move that big airplane, I can’t see the stage!
the republicans have a tool, they say it as if everyone agrees with them and therefore in their minds, it becomes a recognized fact”
I don’t know anyone, neither republican nor democrat that thinks reagan was a great president, yet they go around saying it as if it’s true
most people I know think he was an idiot, all democrats I know think he was the most damaging president up until bush, bush takes the cake
I loved the fact that the democrats are finally getting this, when hillary and oboma both talked about reagan for what he was, the man that destroyed the middle class and then labor culture of our land
when did “Oil dollars = Terrorist Dollars” become a repub meme?
Can’t they just say that it’s the responsible thing to do, without bringing the “be very afraid” bogie-man into the equation?
one of his sons today, interjected Newtie would be a great dark horse write in
I will also like to start getting into each and every discussion that it was reagans funding of fundamental groups intended to destabalize russia that created al qaeda and bin laden
I am pretty certain, no reagan, no al qaeda, no 9/11
Me neither but Hair was playing in Kings Cross in Sydney when I was on R&R in 69 so I always had a soft spot for it.
Huck: if you give people a rebate, they’ll buy shoes they don’t need.
It IS the stage!
They’re in awe of Raygun because he wasted so much $$$, took credit for the fall of the Berlin Wall and got away with Iran/Contra, S&L and other assorted crimes.
Now Huck endorsing public works projects, which are not contained in either of the stimulus plans.
Ronald Reagan? I actually liked this guy. I could actually imagine having beer with this fellow. As long we didn’t discuss politics. As to his policies as guv and prez, well that’s a different discussion.
Where in the world did anyone come up with the idea that George W. Bush was likable?
And there’s this:
AP – Democratic Sen. Barack Obama said Wednesday a Hillary Rodham Clinton presidency would be a step back to the past, turning her husband’s image of a bridge to the future against her. The former first lady decried the tenor of his comments in an interview with The Associated Press.
The silly Twit! I would only buy shoes I need.
And he kicked the shit ouf of them hippies with SI Hayakawa.
You were on R&R and you went to a play ?!! *g*
I have been begging people to call her Gloria BORGIA for years but no one ever listens. Sigh, gnash.
Can’t says I blame you! I got home from Germany that year and went to Woodstock… so my perceptions of that genera of music was not music to my ears..
“Though it would cost the potential buyers around $600 million in breakup fees, THL and Bain execs are likely pondering Clear Channel’s – and the radio industry’s – recent performance. On January 22, CCU lost more than 7% after reports revealed radio industry fell more than 5% in December. What’s more – as mentioned previously, the deal is valued at $39.20 per share; however, CCU stock is now trading 25% below that mark, at $29.50 a share. ”
http://www.schaeffersresearch……x?ID=82366
No the deal to buy ClearChannel is not done yet there is some speculation the deal might not go through it was suppose to be done awhile ago.
This is great either Mitt can’t afford ClearChannel which makes his case as a businessman able to save the economy weakeror Mitt does not think that Rush is worth that much! Bwahhaha!
Ron Paul gets applause for saying he never heard of J.M. Keynes.
That’s what we get when they decide to hold a debate in a religious shrine. USC or UCLA just is’nt hallowed enough.
Senators Clinton and Obama. Are you bent on handing the election to the Republicans?
here’s what reagan legitimately did for the republican party;
he eliminated the fairness doctrine, he gave birth to undisputed lies being broadcast by the likes of rush and bob grant, he gave birth to the deregulation of competitive ideas in the media and he gave birth to the wealthy buying the airwaves and broadcasting propaganda
thus the marionttes who believe everything they hear from propagandists like rush
Heh, at least there were naked chicks in it… ;-)
im exausted thinking of Hill/Bill/Poppy for 8 more years
Shoes for Industry!
The Best of the Firesign Theatre is a terrific double-disc, 31-track collection of the comedy troupe’s best-loved routines, including “Temporarily Humbolt County,” “I Was a Cock-Teaser for Roosterama, ” “Further Adventures of Nick Danger, ” “Napalmolive, ” “Not Quite the Solution He Expected, ” “Communist Love Song”
I love to point out to republicans that reagan didn’t cut taxes he raised taxes, that before bush his tax increase was the largest of any peacetime president in history
they are dumbfounded
ah, the media
oh jeeeeeeeebus
;)
Geez, guess I’ll have to go back and read it, then. I was busy doing other things.
No but I still have the really cool flyer. I wrote all my buddie’s addresess on it!
There should be only one book to check out of the Bush Liberry. “My Pet Goat”. Our prez is a mega bozo. Laura can be the liberrian. She has the creds.
I am sure that was only a momentary diversion from what was really on his mind….http://au.lifestyle.yahoo.com/b/sunrise/3203/australian-girls-choir
Got home 3 weeks late!
“We’ve got to stop spending,” says St. McCain. Um, how do you have 4 more wars without spending???
No doubt Bonzo is smiling down upon the gathered Repug candidates and thinking – They are stupider than that actor I had to star with way back when! Banana time
That concept. Doesn’t it just blow your mind.
Ha! KO says, “I miss Alberto Gonzales.”
OH yeah watch the video :>)
he is already brain dead it appears
I never thought Reagan was likeable, and I would never want to have a beer, or a wine or soft drink or anyting with the guy. I thought he was an arrogant maninipulative hypocrite. And I disagreed with 80% of his policies. But he was in a different class as a politician and a leader frmo any Republican since, including both Bush presidents. He did have the capacity to lead and think for himself once in awhile did get one big and important thing right (dealing with the Soviet Union with vision and in good faith) and that alone redeems his presidency somewhat.
No amount of innate or inane or insane decorum displayed by these clowns can change that. McCain might have hoped to get into the Reagan lead at one time, but he has shown himself to be a true part of the contemporary GOP and will lose. I think the ‘less jobs more war’ label is fitting and will stick.
I just figured out Ron Paul: He’s like the ice-cream cone that I used to get at DQ when I was a kid. They’d dip it in hot chocolate, which would harden in a few seconds.
That chocolate looked, and was – gooood. But with Paul, what’s underneath that chocolate is pure crap. On account of, ya know, he’s fucking insane and all…
… by borrowing more $$$ from China & India …
Dean is on KO!
It’s past time for ‘Bed time for Chimpo”.
add old harpie Babs to the mix,i could have a permanent migraine
Every time I see Romney cock his head to the side, all I can picture is Guy Smiley – thanks to Colbert
Ha, I had spent all my dough and had to get back to the R&R center and this really nice young lady gave me enough for a cab. Froze my ass off but it was cool because it was when we landed on the moon and the Aussie’s were all wild about it.
Major bummer… I only spent two days as my ride was leaving… we did manage to meet my cousin there… he was AWOL from the Army../ he also made the front page of the Sunday Boston Globe …how ironic
I know. I’ll probably watch the new episode of Law & Order instead…
‘It’s a conspicuous ruse he(Mukasey) was playing with the SJC!’
Did the Attorney General say that “America does not now torture “. Did I hear that right?
Um, how do you have 4 more wars without spending???
Volunteer military doesn’t quite mean what he thinks it means…
But you were there. . .
OT from the pygmy debate — Today I got an e-mail from the local organizer for Sen. Obama saying nice things about Sen. Edwards and asking politely for my support. It’s not from the local Dem. club because they’ve come out for Hillary. Did anyone else who was an Edwards supporter got such an e-mail? I’m trying to figure out how they got my e-mail address.
if rootie tooie, the fruitie, isnt Vp ,we wont have to hear him lisping on National Teebee anymore
Yeah I was and last Thursday night in the hospital
I fell asleep to the movie… good drugs
Good grief! 2100 of our military either did or tried to commit suicide last year. That is four time as much as the year before. I need to remind my congressmen of what their political games are doing to Americans. How much blood do they want?
Marion – no email here, but our primary is after Super Duper Tuesday.
Did the Attorney General say that “America does not now torture “. Did I hear that right?
I heard him say that we’re not “waterboarding” any more. Nothing else.
what a freakkin nightmare….they are just abusing those young people
Ok gang:
I have now spent 12 hours at the Lake–from about 7-something AM CT… I’ll take a break, do some things or other, dip in again before I go beddy-bye.
Meanwhile, raven:
Behave yourself. Don’t stir up more trouble…
BTW, these hours have been worth it–what a day!
That he did… and it digressed from there…
Got that?
I meant Raven–these caps/lc distinctions are important.
Oops … Walmart’s going against McCain after what he just said …
I heard him say that it would be torture if it were done to him
he wouldn’t say it’s torture done to anyone else
how friggin depraved is that?
enjoy your evening!
Im glad you all are watching the goopers. I just cant stand them tonight. McCain is so slow…….
Well… perhaps we’ll just have to say “likable” is in the eyes of the beholder. You see my late mother worked for R.R. when he was guv of Cali. I was going to Chico State at the time. And I had lunch with Reagan and others of his staff in the back yard of Dane Domich’s home (that’s where the Reagans lived) in Sacramento many years ago. Though I deplored Mr. Reagan’s politics and policies, I found Reagan to be very likable. On a personal level only. Mind you. ;0)
Take care and stay warm… don’t go out into that freeking cold…
that my friend is their attitude about EVERYTHING…i got mine, you can go Cheney yourself
Anderson’s too nervous to even touch Reagan’s diary. Give me a freeking break.
KO special comment on FISA tomorrow night!
KO asked John Dean whether Mukasey’s position means that Mukasey is more concerned with protecting Bush than The Constitution ?
D’ya think one of those attorneys on the SJC could have asked him that question ?
funny his kids didnt have much use for him,and vice versa
Ooh! Get the popcorn ready; Olberman doing a Special Comment tomorrow night on FISA and Telecom Immunity
oh yea, that’s the kind of stuff that really gets me upset! :)
I’m pro-life, I always side with life, that’s why I let rapists out of prison if I didn’t fry them first.
You forgot — it’s only “life” before it’s been born.
I heard him say that it would be torture if it were done to him
Actually, I didn’t hear him say that – ‘course I might have missed it…
Phone rings – even during stuff I’m interested in – you know. Sucks, but there it is…
I’ll take your word for it.
Adding to my earlier post:
As the corporate day comes to an end, the conditioned, human resource debt slaves return home for a night of passive, unconscious staring seemingly oblivious to the horror being carried out in their name.
It wasn’t Ronnie so much as it was Nancy. My mother has told me lots of stories about Mrs. Ronald Reagan which she saw up close. Ms. Reagan who I only met once was not what I would characterize as likeable.
check this out
what a friggin magot
I wish I were in the conferance room asking questions, mine would be;
D’ya think one of those attorneys on the SJC could have asked him that question ?
I think that, at this point, they just take it for granted…
Yeah just what does McCain want to cut to pay his future wars? McCain is a Senator he has worked on Federal Budgets before I think asking him what he would cut is a fair question.
Otherwise I am left to guess Social Security? Education? just what Federal program is BIG enough to cut entirely to pay for the war…never mind paydown the Debt?
Ron Paul and Kucinich are the only 2 that have no problem answering any question. No hesitation, no explaining why they did something different in the past. They are firm in their beliefs. I hope Paul gets to stay in. Just for the sake of
conflictdrama.i read Kitty Kellys book…but if St. Ronnie always took Nancys side..guess that really chapped the kids ass’
Someone I knew years ago who had met Nancy Reagan called her “the winsome shark.”
Lahoma, who is sitting beside me, asks each of you to consider voting Democratic next November. ;0)
mine would be;
“if we waterboarded you until you said waterboarding was torture, how long do you think it would take you to say it and would that testimony from you be of any value at all?”
which was the Comment of The Day, imo.
this is the thing bothering me the most…i have given up on Humans
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/200…..osure_pets
My mother referred to Ms. Reagan as a very nasty piece of work.
$50 dollars for one delegate. KO is freakin Hilarious!
I would if I could but I can’t so I won’t … *g*
I’m Canadian and I do hope that all eligible voters would vote for the Dem nominee.
Lahoma, who is sitting beside me, asks each of you to consider voting Democratic next November. ;0)
I’ll certainly consider it. heh.
We’ll take that under advisement, but can make no hard and fast guarantees. ;) [grin]
failure on this is not an option imo
$50,000,000 for one delegate, good job, Rudeee…!
Sorry $50 Million Dollars for one Delegate!
Tell her but of course and I am pretty sure most here at the lake would also do…. How were the oysters the other evening??? :>)
KO just said that Rudy spent $50 million for 1 delegate, and no gold medal (to quote that idiot Mitt). As I said: one of the most expensive fools errands in contemporary American politics…
oooh, quoting Peggy Noonan
Gee, I will have to think about that… .
got here late, who’s televising the debate?
thanx jayt, made my day
good night firedogs
Actually I think it was $50 million GOP dollars nicely wasted!
CNN
CNN… Aloha, Perris!
50 Mill gives new meaning to worthless currency
sadlyyes and nahant:
Thanks!
It was a $50 million stimulus plan.
pissing match between Romney and McCain upcoming?
hope springs eternal…
yes we must reserve ourselves for the long fight that is coming
Thanks CTuttle!
It didn’t stimulate Ghouliani very much did it?
Romney won’t shut up
I hope Romney gets the nomination.
Listening to his response to “GOP wrecked” question. What a mishmash of gibberish, lies and failed pitches to buy the rotten lemons of BushCo.
I don’t know if I can listen to much more. This is like watching some kind of horrific political ground hog day movie. I hope the GOP nomination is not settled for a long time. The more these doofuses have to compete against each other in the illiterate, innumerate, surreal and absurd world of the GOP base, the better.
My cousin brought us a bushel of these guys the other day from Louisiana. They have been consumed. The whole bushel. By the lady and me only. Oink. ;0)
2 shallow gasbags, hope it doesnt put too much carbon dioxide into the atmosphere
The GOP’s ability to buy elections seems to be inversely impacted by the amount of attention that voters are paying to the election.
Just saying End the War seems to inspire the Grass Roots. I wonder how Ron Paul is doing with his antiwar stance in cash from regular people vs lobbyists and Corporate contributions in relation to the other GOPers?
hahahahahahahaha
For all the Edwards supporters. This was on DU from a conference call with Edwards.
Some of my notes:
Elizabeth Edwards introduced John:
“…I felt in 2004 that we left the campaign without leaving a mark… not this time… a lot of the policies on the table are the result of John…”
John Edwards:
“We were just and righteous and correct in what we tried to do for the country…”
Decision not about money, wants to unite the Party, believes McCain has the Rep nom locked up. “My withdrawal was not money driven… had nothing at all to do with money… it was based on my belief that continued battle was not going to serve our country well… when it’s a two person race someone emerges quickly… it’s very clear to me that McCain is the Republican nominee…”
“…I wish you could understand how hard this is inside of me…”
Poverty will be the issue on which Edwards will continue to push for concessions. “I have not endorsed anyone… I pressed them (Obama and Clinton in conversation in the last few days) on details of what they would do about poverty… we have very detailed commitments from both of them… both of them have given me their word to do certain things if elected, at the convention… “
No endorsement before Tuesday. “I will be meeting with each of them… there is no chance it will happen (any endorsement) before Tuesday, or even after… “
Take a breather and don’t make any support decision yet. “I’m counseling you all to keep your powder dry… to take time, take a deep breath, don’t be in a hurry (in choosing who to support)…”
“It’s impossible to know what tomorrow holds…”
That’s what I wrote down and I think it covers the key items discussed.
Ooh, Rachel’s on Dan Abrams….
No, but I did get an e-mail from Ted Kennedy today, urging a contribution to Obama.
Fight! Fight! Fight!
So what is the probable choice? Romney, McCain, Hillary or Obama. You choose. Dear folks.
i know in my heart i was right about this man,and woman, and their family…real americans, real patriots…i am sad we wont have them front and center
McCain is so far into Romney’s head… the MittBott might short-circuit at any moment…
Stop it, John. I wanna run against Willard, goddammit…
Thanks for posting this, especially here.
why are they sitting in front of a 707?
in case of need for a fast getaway?
Good advice. He’s no dummy.
Can we be Devilish and help Romney to fund(y)raise …
The new episode of Law & Order isn’t till 9 PM CT–so I’m watching the Repug debate. McCain abd Mitt really can’t stand each other… I hope they don’t come to blows by the time the night is over…
Thanks except it made me cry …again
Thanks so much for sharing that.
OMG, this debate is still going on. Anderson!
Romney is sounding pissed. LOOK, he says there are lots of federal issues I didn’t take a stand on because he was running a state.
I can’t listen to any more. They seem to be stuck in an innanely stupid cartoon level bicker-fest on ‘timetable’ ‘withdrawal’ and ‘radicalislamextremist’. I will leave this innane live stream satisfied that they are self-destructing for the general election in fine style.
Clinton – McCain
or
Obama – McCain
unless the bush/cheney/rush crowd fixes the primaries
I’ve got to go against conventional wisdom. I think McCain will be easier to beat. He has none of the talking heads behind him and how many people are going to support staying in Iraq for all eternity.
Mittens is less informed on issues that St. McCain forgot
They’ve spent 5 minutes arguing about what Mitt meant when he used the word “timetable.” They’re probably losing 50,000 votes a minute. Keep going.
707
The longer the GOP Primary lasts the more money the GOP spends the better things are for us.
It was St. Ronnie’s Air Force One plane.
Now that must have been fun …. the eating and afterward :>).. I do love good oyster BBQ’ed or on the the half shell..
I don’t know where you stand on Iraq. But when it comes to choosing between Obama and Hillary, the first thing that pops into my mind is Iraq.
I’m flipping between Abrams and the debate. I love Rachel. But she’s taken.
Tell you what I think if I can stomach this debate it will get me over any “issues” I have with voting for Clinton or Obama (of which I have many). THese guys are the joke of the town…but I really think they have been working (media, etc) over the last few days to line up the story to make is plausable that McCain will win in Nov. It does not help that Clinton and Obama are acting a bit like kids in a sandbox – also I am sure McCain will get a better bump with VP pick (a Hucklebee or NeoCon…story that this will deliver at least 10% that would have stayed home in critical states and this is key for a win. I tend to think a Evangelica type if he can handle it since I think the NeoCons will hold their nose and vote but the religious right likely will not – that being said McCain is pretty crusty and I could see him having a lot of cronies to pick from).
Who will Obama or Clinton pick for VP? This will be an indicator to me if they are going to go DLC or TLC. I see them going “moderate”, but stranger things have happened.
hilarious!!
Y’all keep me up to date on the pygmy minds — I’ve switched off to Criminal Minds. (Come to think of it, that’s not all that much of a difference!)
It’s ok to let it out **hug for you right now**
Larry O’Donnell is clearly an Obama guy…
I heard Hannity today( I was driving) turn completely around and go for McCain. He was embracing all our points. Is that what they will do?
I had to put Stargate SG1 on… those people make me want to barf… their intelligence under just whelms me
Some blogger must have posed them in front of the 707…Just sayin’.
Romney’s the only one with a decent voice.
Meanwhile, Ron Paul is ventilating and bellyaching…
Go Ron Paul
i shall never forgive him for calling Edwards a loser…what the fuk has he done for this country?
Mccave to the Mutt:
Mitt, you ignorant slut!
Last thought before I go:
I just love something that has seemed to become a Mitt catchphrase
“country not tired of Bush they are tired of Washington” I just love that. Hope he gets the nomination and uses that all the time.
Moderator just said lots more questions on Iraq. Great! I hope their answers get lots of press.
Glad Paul is still in the rade. He is nutty enough to belong to their club, and it is a nice twist that he happens to be right on Iraq (though on nothing else that I can think of)
Just imagine for the moment folks. Romney and or McCain for eight years. Starting next January.
And he sure do “look Presidential,” what with his purty hair and all…
Hope someone grabs Ron Paul’s put down of Mc and attack.
Yup. Then, they will say see….but we’ve got terrorism protection, so we’re different….
I see it comin’…If you can’t like ‘em join ‘em. That is their stupid stratergie.

Thats what I was thinking since I had not heard much about money – also I would add that he could not crack the two person race story that had been a gauntlet against him since Jan/Feb 2007. So no matter what his theme or policy nothing was going to work. His last argument was throwing the gun with no bullets (that he is more electable in the general).
I do not see a way for Romney in this since Huck would stay in the race just to screw Mitt – they all seem to dispise Mitt and his cash & looks. Mitt is also damanged by the Morman god/leader dying since it brings out more of the Morman doctorine that the hard-core R base is really not open to. And of course Rudy votes and support going to McCain.
I heard Hannity too. He was saying that the conservative movement needs to keep up with the times. No more focusing on the platform of the past. Time to transform.
We never should have gone there… what a waste of our precious soldiers and the Iraqi people … We have neighbors on our street from both Iraq and Iran both very nice people… in fact they live next door to one another and seem to get along quite well
NY Post endorses Senator Obama
So much for the idea that Senator Clinton and Murdoch are in the tank for each other.

How is that?
If Romney hadn’t hooked up with the Neocons and been pro-war, he would have been interesting, but he’s Cheney’s latest puppet…
Mittens will be too busy clipping his coupons, and watching the DOW
We can’t leave because if we do those who died will have died in vain. Fuckin A, just like the Nam.
Im so glad you heard him too. I thought I was hallucinating
Yeah…
I almost drove off the road.
Mc Cain really sounds bad.
Can’t argue with that we broke it we gotta fix it… fucking Bush sure screwed us on that one… But we still never should have gone there in the first place… fucking bastard Bush and Cheney… they should be made to lead from the front on the line…. frag the bastards..
McCain sez the Dems wanted to surrender … come on Hillary & Obama, gang up on this guy !!!
He almost sounds like that girl in the South Carolina beauty contest just trying to say the words that he thinks are important.
Easy bro
Romney!!
He turned the Olympics around!!!
Was he in charge of the Arabian horse shows, too?
And he regrets not serving, my dying ass. Like Lee Greenwood.
One of Romney’s greatest regrets is not serving in the military?
Why doesn’t he kick the tushes of those FIVE military age kids into bootcamp??
sheeeet
Sorry Raven they just get under my skin and I can’t won’t stop ranting at them… Oh well I hope I can look forward to these thieves and thugs being banished from power for a long long time!!
Oh god, governor’s as president, goober Purdue is getting ready.
Not at all, they just frown on certain types of statements here if ya get my drift.
I know… and thanks for calming me down… it does feel good to rant though
Motherfuckers who went to the academy and flew jets ain’t no foot soldiers.
