There’s just something wrong with reporting (and reporters). Rudy can hardly be described as a candidate BigMedia wouldn’t support. But, much as he’s a bum and I take graet pleasure in one of the worst performances by a candidate in memory, I think he got a raw deal coverage -wise in the run up to the FL primary. Every day, everywhere, the <em>only </em>thing that was reported about him were his plummeting poll numbers. That’s all he was asked about. It’s not so different from what Edwards is going through. They decide what’s newsworthy by looking at polls. The polls, themselves are the most newsworthy thing in an election to them.</p> <p>And I don’t get McCain. BigMedia wrote his obituary a few months ago. Now they love him. Maybe it was because a few months ago they had another candidate of choice - Fred “Mr. T” Thompason.
