Well, in a way I think it is great that McCain has won, although Mittens would have been great, too.

If I were writing a General Election add for the Dems against McCain, it would be the easiest thing in the world. The Republicans will say it’s ‘below the belt’ but I’d sure want them to explain why and how:

“Mr. McCain: for all of us with mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, grandmothers and grandfathers who have not survived their skin cancers (or any other cancer) because they did not see doctors in time for fear of expense or because they had no health coverage; please explain to me why you are more important and deserved doctors and superior care over my mother, father, daughter, son, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, grandmother or grandfather by virtue of being a US Senator. Mr. McCain, explain this to me. THIS is why I am a Democrat!!!”

I think we may need some help with turnout to challenge the Bomb Iran Party.

Senator John McCain will visit Connecticut on Sunday, February 3rd at 1pm at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield. Senator McCain will be joined by Lt. Governor Mike Fedele, Senator Joe Lieberman, Representative Chris Shays, former Congressman Rob Simmons, State Senator Tony Guglielmo and - possibly - Governor Jodi Rell.

The “Super Bowl Sunday” campaign stop will be at the University Commons, 5151 Park Avenue in Fairfield.

I agree with everything you have said, but would it be so hard for a national teevee newsreader or pundit to congratulate and commend those Democrats in Florida for showing up and voting, even knowing no delegates would be awarded?

Hold them up as true patriotic Americans is more encouraging than declaring them DOA, stepping over their bodies and calling it a meaningless “Beauty Contest.”

Was I too politically incorrect before? Let me try again. Are John McCain’s children ever seen? How many are there? Does he keep them hidden away?

The two hipster daughters from his first marriage are constantly out there, sometimes even butting in and answering questions the media asks McCain. I think his adopted son is over in Iraq, or at least has been. The adopted daughter I haven’t seen.

Oops!
Once iPhoto 08 is installed and launched, it updates your existing photo database. The trick is to leave the machine alone while this is happening.
If there is a problem once this is done, rebuild the photo database. “Help” will tell you how.
