Well, Oilfield, it could happen ONE way. If we’re stupid enough to put up a candidate who thinks that the surge is working, and applauds goatboy’s saying so, it’ll mean tweedle-dum and tweedle-dee, on the Iraq war.

And that way, we could easily lose.

At the next debate, I just want Obama or Edwards to ask her if she thinks we’re winning in Iraq.

Other than that, McCain and his “I’ll stay a hundred years!” talking point is a GREAT candidate for us, just as bushCo is cancelling the plans to start bringing home a few of the troops.

Iraq is all about keeping that lid on until November. And then, the democrats get the flaming-turd bouquet. To their credit, some of them are finally starting to grumble about it, but I’m not sure they can do much, at this point. Events will have to do it for them, and they just may.
