That’s how they are listed above — the first column is Phone, the second is FAX.

I copied and pasted this information directly from Kohl’s website:

Washington Office
(2nd and C St., NE)
330 Hart Senate Office Building
United States Senate
Washington, D.C. 20510
Phone: (202) 224-5653
Fax: (202) 224-9787

As you can see, the numbers listed on your list (that I printed out from yesterday’s post) are transposed. The number that you listed as his fax number is actually his phone number and the number you listed as his phone number is actually the fax number. Since I use Selise’s numbers which are already in my address book, I did not use your numbers, so I found the transposition of Kohl’s numbers by accident. I know nothing about the rest.

I’ve been calling. I’ve been trying to also put together a ”tech friendly” format of this information for my aged parents and their friends. Boy, they want to make sure their rights are protected.

Thanks for all your work Christy, Jane, EW…

I called my senators, Sununu and Gregg, offices and was told by the staffers that both senators are ‘undecided’ at the moment. They usually vote party, not country, so I hold little hope that they will do the constitutionally correct thing today. There is always hope however, and when they are aware that we are aware it just might help especially with those who are seeking re-election this year.

Hi!, She (Sen. Feinstein) was the first one I called and left a message. The person I left the message with appeared to be positive about the message. Hopefully I’m reading her right.

Updated above with this:

California readers will no doubt be unsurprised by this — but Sen. Feinstein continues to dither about her vote. Please give her a call/FAX and tell her to vote “NO” on cloture. She’s a Democrat, and it sure would be nice if she acted like it.

Phone: (202) 224-3841
Fax: (202) 228-3954
TTY/TDD: (202) 224-2501

I just got off the phone with Ben (not Bill) Nelson’s office. Interesting to note that after asking my purposely-neutral first question (What is Sen. Nelson’s thinking on the vote this afternoon for cloture?), she started to recite that he voted for immunity because the telecoms were providing a service to the country…then paused, asked if I could hold a moment. Upon coming back, she asked if I was representing an organization (I said no), at which point she let me go on. I was clear in how I thought Sen. Nelson should vote and why the telecoms (and administration) should not get immunity and she thanked me for my comments. Might just be me, but her closing seemed genuinely thankful and not the perfunctory send off I usually get (you would be safe in assuming I call Sen. Nelson’s office more often to criticize than to thank). :)

The repubs have been brutal to McCain. Limbaugh, JoeScar this morn, Santorum, Buchanon, all have spoken out against him. And a Cheney daughter endorsed Mitt. They’re really throwing him under the bus big time. Is that why he isn’t coming for the SOTU? And, where does that leave Lieberman?

Poor old joe mighta hitched his wagon to the wrong horse. Pity. Snicker.

What! Mitt used to run a hedgefund they don’t report profits like normal companies do so how do we know that Mitt’s old fund did not buy a bunch of subprime loans unless he lets an independent accounting firm look at his books?
Mitt’s business expertise for all I know could be an Enron style illusion. Mitt can’t run as a business success if we can’t verify it independently.
Pat Buchanan might invest in companies that don’t report their investments regularly but America shouldn’t. We already had a Bush MBA President who drove a few companies to bankruptcy we don’t need anymore shady dealers.
