I don’t know how a person could vote for a senator who wouldn’t stand up for the Constitution. This is a significant moment for Clinton & Obama.

you’ve articulated this 30-60 second spot so well, why not approach a film class… see if someone wants to make it a project? Put the idea up on CraigsList? It really could be a powerful ad. If i didn’t have a million things, i might give it a shot. Could be fun, and easily low budget.

Shouldn’t you be working for a hard-hitting ad agency?

Qwest reportedly refused the administration. Credo mobile is soliciting subscribers and, I believe, put it in print that they will not cooperate with warrantless wiretaps. EFF offers a one month rial to a service that allows you to surf the net anonymously for new members. Consider PGP encryption, or Tor. None of it is likely to be foolproof. But, we don’t have to make it easy.

I will be voting in my state’s primary upcoming for the candidate who supports Senator Dodd on the FISA legislation by appearing in the Senate and casting a vote; no exceptions!”
2. March on Congress with Senator Dodd fillibuster ongoing. A 500,000 member march on Washington did wonders in getting people’s attention on the Vietnam war. Is is possible to get that turnout in the internet age?

I started the day with low expectations. However, the biggest disappointment was that my senator – Claire McCaskill (a Dem) – voted to table/kill the Judiciary version of the bill. I don’t know if it had to do with AT&T and Sprint presence here in Missouri, or with deference to that dinosaur Kit Bond. Any thoughts from other Missourians?

We really need to put the full court press on McCaskill tomorrow and Monday. I’m hoping it’s not too late to convince her to come down on the right side of this issue.
