Perfect smear job. “There’s something wrong with his character,” said the former head of the Joint Chiefs, but we never find out what, and whatever it is, it isn’t shared by others at the Pentagon.

I forget which debate it was, back in September maybe, that Hill, Edwards and Obama articulated their policies on getting out of Iraq. Not a dime’s worth of difference between them. Just Richardson and Kucinich were for immediate withdrawal of all US forces. The rest hedge about what “residual” forces there might be in two or three or four years.

About Bill? Asleep? And the “story” is taken up by the Post? Which is owned by who?

One of the depressing features of this campaign is how little principle is driving much of the criticism of the Clintons even from their Democratic opponents. Are they beatable on policies? Sure they are. But how much easier to repeat the pap that the media, and the Republican right, has already pre-digested.

I saw Hillary and Obama in a joint suicide bombing. John Edwards should move his chair a little farther away.

Hillary attacks for no damn reason, other than she can’t tolerate any competition. After 8 sad, horrible years of Dubya, we shouldn’t be ‘rewarded’ with a Hillary. How much more sh** can this country take?

Hugh@138; with her record, all Clinton CAN be is “vague about Iraq”. And if we don’t have a candidate who’s going after the goopers, hammer and tongs on that, they’ll be shaving points like the crookedest NBA team that ever tanked, and we’ll be looking at another 8 years of republican rule.

And, lest anyone thinks that Iraq isn’t still going to be THE issue:

http://www.aswataliraq.info/lo.....rSection=1

And: http://www.antiwar.com/updates/?articleid=12242
