		<description>&lt;p&gt;I read the diary by Ben Anderson linked in this post a couple of days ago.  I still cannot come to grips with the old man in a shura who says “Life has no meaning for me anymore. I lost 27 members of my family. My house has been destroyed. Everything I’ve built for seventy years is gone…….” or the compound where the troops end up in a deadly firefight and discover a man with the six children,  including three toddlers and a baby.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

The amount of change he could create from that position is breathtaking.  Would be the perfect pinnacle of all the work people in the Civil Rights movement have done before him.&lt;/p&gt;
