Yeah, I attended college 1978-82, the last two years of Carter and the first two of Reagan. I welcomed Reagan because I was bored and frustrated with Carter (What can I say? I was young and stupid back then) but I remember a fellow student asking me a year or so into Reagan’s term “So, what has Reagan done right?” and I guess I was maturing by then because I couldn’t think of a thing he had done that I’d agreed with.

Huh. I read all the quotes from Obama’s folks, and there’s nothing deceiving or incorrect about what they said. Were they not supposed to say anything about this for fear that it would called “spin?”

If I was a candidate I’d surely be bringing this up, since it does suggest Obama had more support statewide, while Hillary took mostly the biggest city. Seems like a big positive for Obama, especially considering he was trailing here by approx 25% just two months ago.
