Is it appropriate for the titular head of the Democratic Party to be leading the efforts to discredit the candidacy of Barack Obama? This morning Bill Clinton and Gary McAuliffe barged into one of the caucuses and proceeded to urge attendees to vote for his wife. How would we feel if Jimmy Carter teamed up with Obama and proceeded to lead a campaign to discredit Hillary Clinton?

My bottom line is: if it was the right thing to do, Schumer, Di Fi and Lieberlier COULD/SHOULD also write a letter to that effect. Otherwise to me it looks like they are saying, the email attack on Obama being circulated among Jewish voters is fine. Indeed they could get very huffy, and go after the others saying, you should have included us, how unfair you were, we support it too, but you assumed we would not.

I never could see Rudy. People who vote in primaries take the trouble to run their emotional preferences through their rational brain. Rudy didn’t register emotionally, it turns out.
