Don’t know what’s going on with HRC and BO and I don’t wanna know. get e-mails from the Edwards Campaign and those are all very upbeat, so i assume his campaign people are stoned.

LOL Great!

It sounds like we need half-way houses or something like that for vets who are having trouble. Let’s get ‘em off the streets (if they want) and help ‘em with drug addiction and their other basic necessities.

One of my grandfathers (my father’s father) was a WWI vet (he sometimes fought hand to hand and bayonet to bayonet with Germans in France) and he had a very tough time afterward. When I knew him he was fine, but when I was in my 30s my father told me that for many years after the war my grandfather was pretty crazy and prone to violence. Somehow, after time passed, he straightened out and was the most gentle lovable man you’d ever want to meet. He was somewhat lucky in that he lived in the country and farmed for a living. Out there he didn’t have to deal with city folk crowding him and he didn’t have a drug problem or physical ailments. Not everybody is so lucky.

If past is prologue, then somebody should have noted the experiences of our veterans and helped them. Why is there no program for them? Maybe the monies were always spent on military programs large companies wanted.

If we had a president who thought of people first, maybe then something could be done.

Mary, when I came 12 years ago the rental vacancy rate was 6% now 0% they rent in a day or so.
We are looking at a $300 to $400 a month sewer bill in a year or so. All the little low cost units are flipped for mcmansions. The down home folks are getting the boot. I like jogging on the peninsula sand with my dog. the pacific air is clean and little pollen here. Other than cost and housing available it is good.

Vin Scully is the utmost. He is the level to which all other announcers aspire and fall woefully short.

He is impressive as hell. I subscribe to MLB.TV each year so I can watch baseball games over the internets, so I got to watch and listen to him call an entire Mets-Dodgers game with no-one else in the booth to banter with (as per usual). He. Is. Awesome.
