Lieberman made robocalls to Democrats, imploring them to cross over and vote for McCain. (Very active Michigan Democrat Marcy Wheeler got 5 of them — the notion that Democrats were not targeted, as the McCain campaign contends, is pure horseshit).

Okay poor Marcy. But See!?!? That’s what CT Dems had to put up with during the primary. The Liarman camp actually used a robocall that used Ned Lamont’s voice and screwed with people’s machines.

Bill & Hill don’t regret shilling for Holy Joe. They both work for the same massa (its name is A*P*C) & do what they’re told. The fates of A*P*C’s minions are unimportant as the only goal is Israel’s continued right to ethnically cleanse the indigenous people still hanging on in 22% of historical (now occupied) Palestine.

OT - I just have become aware of Ashwin Madia running to replace Jim Ramstad in MN 03. Do any Minnesotans have any thoughts about him? I am leaning toward Franken - any thoughts from anyone on him? I am planning to go to my precinct caucus on Feb 5.

You just taught me that Minnesota is one of the 14 Caucus states. I listened to a lot of Franken’s shows when he was on Air America. He had a great line up of guests and he was plenty constructive and informed. I think he’d make a great Senator. There were a lot of constructive discussions on that show with a lot more substance than you hear in the debats. But as people have pointed out well here, the questioners like Russertt asked questions that were often terrible, and questions that they would all shape some generic answer they’d agree on most of the time instead of questions they could have asked.

The show’s regular guests included Jonathan Alter, David Brock, Joe Conason, James Fallows, Howard Fineman, Christy Harvey, Paul Krugman, Thomas Oliphant, Norman Ornstein, George Packer, Melanie Sloan, David Sirota, and Lawrence O’Donnell Jr.
