I’m wondering what you think of the recount? I’m glad to see it happening now in this early primary stage. It certainly can’t hurt. Or can it?

I fully agree with Brokaw that they should be covering, not predicting. That’s quite a large amount to be off really. While I disapprove of Hillary’s ploy, I don’t believe it could have made an overnight switch that big. Some reports I’d read the day after had women slapping back at the media more than sympathy for Hillary. Either way, I found it unacceptable in this election.

It could be a combination of the the media waking up to the fact they aren’t driving this bus…. as they did before the voting began, faulty or tampered with voting machine memory cards, and slight percentage of people, men and women, who were hoodwinked by the tearful tireness ploy. Perhaps, a hand count could put the actual vote totals closer to their polling data?

There’s no law that says one has to be truthful to polling entities and I find no value in what the polls say anyway. They’re a tool the media uses to drive their agenda and campaigns use to tinker with their manipulations of the voters. I also think there should be a voluntary hand count in every state to verify these machines and not wait until the general comes off close.

Interesting to see which the recount supports the polls or the actual votes as reported. Regardless, I’d be happy if they’d return to covering, not predicting. That would be helpful.

Of course it’s our fault. They’re wise, and we should vote the way they tell us to (and the way their wise consultant friends push us to). It’s absolutely our fault they don’t give us information about issues and cover inconvenient candidates (and thanks so much to Little Debbie for admitting it) if we’re not going to use the information to arrive at an acceptable conclusion.

Well that’s true. The Republikan candidates are all freaks. Withthem we get eternal war, no rule of law and a creationist science education, that makes even the Iranians laugh at us.
