MSM on Sibel Edmonds: I have found that a good way to gauge the penetration of a news story is to search for the item on Google News. This yields 35 hits using the term “Sibel Edmonds”.

As a comparable, “Posh Spice” who was just listed as the World’s Worst Dressed Woman got 1,381 hits.

As you can see, the MSM is certainly not interested in reality any longer. Which is why I’m mystified by all the endless and pointless chatter about Chris Matthews. Who, by the way, was the butt of a very long joke on The Daily Show this evening. Hopefully Crooks & LIars will pick this up soon.

The lists were astonishingly out-of-date only months after they were created. Lots of people moving and vanishing into thin air. These days, I prefer to go to our local library or downtown to leaflet. This has felt a lot more productive to me than scurrying around neighborhoods where half the folks are away from home, and the other half are divided between people who have barely heard about the candidate or the petition issue at hand and the other residual quarter who are truly clueless.
