Woohoo! Obama: Free trade, big corporations, talk of “fixing” social security in a republikan way, and suppression of talk on racial issues. Boy, am I ever so excited for a Republikan-lite preznit.

I’m curious about TDS and Colbert. No one in the morning crew stayed up to watch them?

Rating the returns of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert

Morning Joe is very nice to his Neo-Con buddies. Some how one can intuitively fathom a connection is there somewhere even though Joe spends Commercial time describing himself as independent, Its that flair, in tone, that southern hint, open aggressiveness that one can see in Joe Scarborough. When I read about Joe and how he signed the Contract for America, this guy is so anchored in change it’s pathetic. And it isn’t Chump Change.

But what change are we going to get with a guy like Joe Scarborough, why am I even talking about it? He is not even a candidate. Well Joe can be like a lot of ordinary politicians that are doing these days; Dobbs is doing, and a host of others. Show the personal human side and appeal to the audience of the American electorate by performing on national television news to be a leading politician. To rule. Break in through news talk shows.

Scarborough is a tightly franchised Republican and considered himself a federalist. Very questionable issues are presented here, ideals like getting rid of the “Department of Housing and Urban Development”. “Department of Energy”. “Department of Education”. Scarborough is simply a part of the Newt Gingrich gang who in my opinion are nothing more than the rich businessman who sells weapons under the first amendment that encourage rage and civil division to instill their version of the federalist papers. And hope Americans will take power into their own hands. Then instant tyranny, patriotism, and forever war. The civil type.

But the Republicans primed and stuffed the ballets for Obama’s win in Iowa to reject a Hillary win. However, the Republicans find themselves in a tail spin. If one reads George Lakoff’s book on whose freedom were he talks about framing issues one can see how Journalist knowingly talk to each other in a game and may have found they have been out skilled by Obama. And the blow back is Obama’s Audacity of the worst kind. First the Republicans thought they only had Hillary to worry about. Now there are two. If Obama can with stand the Mainstream Media Jaggernaut Bitching, whining, and misinformation, which he very well maybe able to do, more like in order to survive, Obama and Hillary will win with a count so high the voting machines won’t even be needed. The media has already characterized Obama as a reoccurring JFK, MLK, all which also primes a short life.

Chris Mathews made the same points that are here but knows in his heart that the Democrats will as much as possible to get Whitehouse and help Obama to do it if necessary. So far the Republicans have worked old style politics and America reads it so well. The Mainstream Media is finally broken, because we are here on this fine blog to talk to each other and discuss to really understand and take back America.

I can’t stand to watch any longer. The commercial interruption make it a most unpleasant experience. I just wait for the highlights to come up on Crooks & Liars.

I’ve downloaded a couple of episodes. If you cut out all the commercials and all the intro and exit fluff, you get at best 16 minutes of real programming every 30 minutes. That’s not acceptable.

I taped them and watched them this morning. They did what they could, including much on how they did not have writers.

However, it is going to be really hard for those two without their writers as the days go by. Look for plenty of flashbacks to earlier bits and longer interviews.

Re:

Gloria Steinham has an op-ed on pervasive sexisim in American politics.

America has perpetual yawn about anything Gloria Steinem has been repeating for the past four decades. Shouldn’t she be whining about nonagenarian rights by now?
