John Stuart Mill never meant to say that the Conservatives are generally stupid. He meant to say that stupid people are generally Conservative. It is so obviously and universally admitted a principle that hardly anyone will deny it.

I’m of the opinion that parody is the best medicine and that one absurdly illogical argument deserves another. But someone such as Jonah Goldbrick–who has a book deal and all–would clearly know better than I would.

But it is such hard work being an idiot who can’t even read (let alone understand) history. Fascism is the conjoining of corporate power with the state–the exact antithesis of liberal America. It is time to make a stand against stupidity and fake “conservatism.”

It’s not that all Conservatives are stupid. It’s that the propaganda “movement Conservatism” celebrates dumbness as a virtue, and intelligence as a vice.

It’s hard to take seriously or have a conversation with a person who doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘liberal’ or ‘fascist’. That pretty much covers all Conservative Bush Republicans.
