I was raised in a Fundie church but escaped while I was still a teenager. I still remember what I was taught about the life and words of the man we call Jesus.

What I could never understand was how somebody could claim to be a follower of Jesus and a conservative Repugnant at the same time. How can you claim to love God and hate most of His children?

Jesus was clearly a moonbat DFH. He was against wealth, religiousity, prayer in schools and killing other people, whether in war or by execution.

He told people to pay their taxes (render unto Caesar) and he healed the sick without questioning anyone as to whether they deserved it or could afford it. He fed the hungry, and preached forgiveness, not retribution. He told people to mind their own business, not their neighbor’s.

It’s obvious that many of the leaders of the so-called Christian Right have been corrupted by the big money wing of the GOP. Why else would they be opposed to protected the environment of the world God made? How else could they advocate waging war in the name of the Prince of Peace?

I never got the idea that Rabbi Jesus ever said anything about blasting heathens off the face of the earth. He certainly didn’t seem to have that attitude toward the “Good Samaritans” (those heretics that were despised by the Saducees and Pharisees). The Samaritans were about as despised (and considered unholy) by the Jews as Muslims and Hindus are by Protestants…and as strange as Mormons.

Jesus said “judge them by their acts” . Lord Buddha opined that there are millions of paths to enlightenment. Try and do good deeds.

She’s in a tough spot. She’s a creature of the south park republicans who’s not selling to them any more, so she’s positioned herself as a fervent christian. Unfortunately, the people who contract for conservative books don’t want Huckabee, so she’s having to portray herself as appalled by how he’s less intolerant than she is.

I’m not sure who that’s supposed to appeal to, but apparently she thinks they buy books.

Or belong to Conservative Book Clubs. I see more and more of Rush’s and Coulter’s books being sold for 99 cents at the discarded books sections. Which means they are being sold less that the cost of the paper and bindings. Soon we’ll be using them for biofuels.

And the only place I typically see her books actually on shelves are in the Christian bookstores that are filled with Hauckabee supporters. I think that Ann is making a big marketing mistake here.

And jest as all the gays were considering her a camp vamp she comes out with this swill. They’s not gonna invite her to anymore parties!

Let’s face it - Malkin has an affluent lifestyle and a revenue flow that depends on the kindness of strangers.

If Fox has written her off, she’s dependent on advertising, and her traffic flow depends on nativists.

I’m too much of a cynic not to think there’s a connection.

Malkin is a fervent nativist (and a big Thompson supporter, apparently) and she hasn’t forgiven Huckabee.

Oh, no. I’m starting to like Mike a bit more.
